Beautiful dining space with local art on the walls and cozy vibe. We came in at the end of service so it took a while for our... server to get to us but we understood. The food was very disappointing. The Brussels sprouts app was tasty but the chowder wasterrible: my husband echoed my thoughts that they were running out of soup so they just added water to stretch it out, it wasthin and tasteless. The scallops and pasta had more of a thin "sauce" like the chowder and the scallops were burned. The solewas fine. Read more

We walked in without a reservation at 7pm and even though they were very busy on a Sunday night, they were very gracious and... found us a table. The decor was comfortable but nothing special; the wait staff was excellent! Janet was very attentive and thegood was very good. We could not have asked for a better evening! Would recommend them to anyone. All of the dishes we saw comeout looked great. Read more

Outstanding food from beginning to end --warm bread with salty crunchy crust and yeasty aroma...salad with local greens and... perfect dressing with pistachios....roasted brussel app was crunchy and tasty and perfect....I had the lobster risotto...it ISLegendary. Yum!! Bitter sweet chocolate pudding for dessert. They have very solid wine list with nice house selection. Idgo again and again. Awesome outside dining area with fantastic mellow and memorable ambiance. Read more

I am not one to generally leave reviews even when I do not enjoy a meal but the experience I had eating at Red Sky was... offensive. This is the first time I have ever left a restaurant feeling cheated out of my money. Myself and my fiancé orderedthe lobster risotto and the ribeye; both were dishes that they charge $49 for. The food took an hour and a half to arrive at ourtable and when it did finally arrive the ribeye was both burned and cold. It was an interesting culinary decision to burn thesteak and then let it sit for 45 minutes. The lobster risotto tasted fine but nowhere near the level of quality that one shouldexpect from a $49 dish. Additionally the lobster risotto was plated in such a way that it made the dish seem unappetizing. Myfiancée literally said to me "they are charging $50 for this?" when it arrived. Overall the food tasted like someone wasguessing at the recipes. We would have sincerely enjoyed the food more going to one of the many local lobster shacks. The mostfrustrating part of all is that the restaurant itself is cute. The outdoor dining area is set up with private tables in the backand it comes of as quaint. The menu when read seems appetizing. However, the food and the service were awful. The entireexperience felt like 50% of a good restaurant. However, one should not have to pay $150+ for 50% of a good restaurant. Read more

Wonderful small restaurant with great food , wine and cocktails. The lobster risotto is legendary. Grilled watermelon salad... balanced with delightful baby greens and tangy dressing. Classic mussels deliver and home-smoked salmon with home-made crackersshould not be missed. Save room for dessert. Gingerbread is truly gingery and best I’ve ever had. Chocolate pudding is darkchocolate lovers’ fantasy. The wine of the day recommended by super hostess Diana was so good we took a pic of the label.Lovely staff and great service. Bravo Red Sky!! Probably the best meal we've had on MDI, Red Sky was excellent. Everything was perfectly prepared. My wife thought her risotto... was delicious, my duck breast was excellent (and came out rare as requested), and my mother-in-law enjoyed the tagliatelle. Theappetizers were good and the deserts were great. This is what happens when a restaurant takes pride in what they do. Great joband thanks! Read more
