First time I've been to Denny's in a long time. The food was actually good but wow.... the price... Like most places they've... jumped on the bandwagon of inflation prices. Chicken Fried steak & eggs is what i ordered. $16,99? That's a little steep forDenny's. 1 piece of chicken fried steak at that... probably 4oz. Historically, we have not had good luck at this location. However, we have been twice in the last week for late, late night... dinners. Javohn was our server both times. He's attentive enough to not be annoying and didn't wait until I had a mouthful offood before coming to the table. Our drinks were always full and we had plenty of napkins without asking. Walked in to a completely empty restaurant, a guy greeted us, sat us, and took our drink order. After bringing us coffee he said... the server would be right with us. We asked to order after about 5 minutes and he went to find the server, he again said she'dbe right with us and refilled coffee. After 11 minutes the server finally showed up and took our order. Food was ready in a fewminutes but server was too busy talking to get it, sat ready for about 3 minutes while she was steps away talking. The greeteragain refilled our coffee. We love going to Denny's out here on Mountain Highway. The staff is awesome! Very attentive. The food is great. I absolutely... love the Bourbon Chicken Skillet. It's a clean restaurant. Bathroom is clean to. That's important. We'll go back again andagain. Read more
