The food was good, the service was excellent, everybody was friendly & smiling. That's the kind of place that makes you feel... welcome ( & where we will return) We sat in the lounge area and listened to a lot of friendly (& funny) chatter among thecustomers. This is our second time eating here. Excellent food. Tonight had an excellent waitress, Sarah! Greeted us so kindly and stayed... open late to serve us! Well worth the drive out from Spokane. Real down home delicious cooking and great service! Thanks! Read more
This is a somewhat rural place, about 15 miles south of Spokane just off of SR 195. At places with a lounge/bar, we always sit... in the lounge rather than the restaurant (it's usually quieter) We'd only been there about 10 years ago and it wasn't a verypositive experience. We just happened to be near the Harvester recently, when no other places were open, so we gave it a try. Wewere pleasantly surprised with the friendly atmosphere & the food was good too! We've been back a few times and it has beengreat every time. Our server has almost always been Joanie...she is outgoing and friendly & seems to be flawlessly handlingquite a few sections all at the same time. I suspect this will be a regular stop for us. I would guess that the restaurantsection is probably just as welcoming. They are closed on Mon/Tues. Read more
We recently discovered this restaurant and we love it! In the middle of beautiful farmland with delicious food and a warm,... country vibe this is a new favorite. In the last week we?ve come twice. Sarah was our waitress both times and was so friendly &kind to all of us and great with our six year old son. My whole family loves it! Enjoy discovering this treasure too! Read more
If I could give more stars I would! Joni was a wonderful server. If you want the best French dip ever, come here. The decor was... so old school and kitschy, SUPER COOL. It was absolutely worth the drive. The Country fried steak was amazing as well. I havenever had a Huckleberry mimosa, let me tell you- it was delicious. Cannot recommend this place enough. Read more
It was our first visit, and based on the other reviews, we knew we had to stop in Spangle, WA for a meal at this place right off... of 195, whose big sign that just reads "Restaurant" from the highway is like a beacon rising up from the gently rolling hills ofthe Palouse. Heading back to WSU after a weekend in Spokane, it was the perfect breakfast/lunch stop (we ordered from bothmenus). It's an authentic American diner with fast, friendly service and generous servings of high-quality diner classics. Myhuckleberry waffle was the bomb! Just had a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner here! Seriously, thank you so much for the nice atmosphere and the obvious care you... took in preparing the Thanksgiving meal. And the pumpkin pie was the best I've had in a while. We come here once or twice amonth for the fish and chips and were thrilled when we saw you were serving a Thanksgiving meal.
