We went during dinner on a Friday night. We were seated and brought chips and salsa fairly quickly. Then we waited and waited... for someone to take our drink order. I finally got up an asked a server to bring us water. After attending a few other tables,restocking the drink bar, and seating a few people, she finally brought us our drinks. We ordered our food and waited again. Weasked to have our chips refilled to which the response was, "We are running out of them." So I guess no chip refill? I would beok if she had said some thing like "I'm sorry we are behind on making chips, can I bring you a half basket?" or something likethat. We ordered combo's that comes with the fideo soup. We waited and waited for that. I finally asked if we could get thesoup. It looked like the server had forgotten because she brought the soup and then our food plates. The food was sub par. Myhusbands burrito came out with no sauce and just on an empty plate. Just didn't look appetizing and the meat was not cookedwell. Can you guess what we waited for next? Our check! We absolutely love the food. So authentic and delicious. Just be prepared if you go on a weekend to have a bit of a wait. I... could tell they were understaffed but doing the best they could. Be patient. The food is so worth it. Read more
Food was awesome! My wife is from Mexico and is very particular about Mexican restaurants but we loved the birria, in fact she... said 5 stars! The only down side is they don’t offer alcohol (gotta have a margarita when eating at a Mexican restaurant ????)and they charge 4% to pay with a card. But the place was clean and food was great! The Milanesa was almost burnt. Very dark, crusty and dry. I had ordered the sandwich and my wife the plate with tortillas. Both... contained the same terrible Milanesa. And the chip salsa was extremely salty. We couldn't load any salsa on a chip and eat it,it was so salty. My wife said "Well, the rice was really good." Grrr! We won't be back. Read more
The reviews don’t portray the restaurant food quality accurately. I received great service throughout my dinner. The staff was... attentive and very kind. This is a great option for anyone looking for a friendly atmosphere and the food is genuinely authenticwith a wide variety of options for any diet restriction. I normally like the food here, but this left me not wanting to finish my meal. I ordered take out, and found this little friend,... a lady bug. I called the restaurant and all they told me was that they'd let the cook know to be more careful. ???????? not mybest experience. Read more
Finally a Mexican restaurant that has food that tastes like it does in Mexico. Spicy salsa instead of the bland ketchup you find... so many places. The tamales were tasty and smooth, the enchiladas full of meat and flavor, and the salsa verde on top was spicybut flavorful. Had a chance to chat with our waitress about Mexican history and food. I have found my new favorite restaurant inUtah. Read more
The food is genuinely amazing, the service ruins the quality. We’ve had to leave before due to waiting for long periods just... for them to even talk to us. I would understand if the place wasn’t so dead all the time, their business would skyrocket ifthey took the time to train their servers to make the experience match how great the food is. Last time we had gone, theygiggled as we were leaving, obviously they don’t need the costumers if that’s how they’re treated. Read more
