We stopped by for the first time Friday evening and the food was delicious! We had the stuffed mushrooms, crabcakes and stuffed... shrimp. The staff was amazing in this very friendly restaurant/bar with a great view! Read more
Took a little road trip to grab a reasonably close "soft crab" sandwich, raw oysters and some fries with crab imperial on... 'em. Growing up in a small town on the Chesapeake Bay makes me a harsh critic of seafood restaurants.. but Dock of the Baydidn't let us down. Delicious fried soft crab sandwiches.. fresh oysters.. and good drinks. Living just north of Baltimore now..this will probably be the first of many visits. We sat outside and had a decent view (that was shared with several ducks ... and a couple flies, which is proper bay/outdoors eating) Our server was awesome ... and we'll definitely be back. Nice menu. Monthly specials are appreciated. Three stars because the outside patio was filthy. Flies and ants everywhere.
Crab cake sandwich was amazing. Soft yummy roll too. Sat out on deck with a nice breeze and watched ducks chilling in the water.
Good food. Great staff (always very nice and helpful). Nice atmosphere, with good views of the water. They have a monthly... specials menu that always has a couple of fresh and creative options. There are sometimes inconsistencies from the kitchen, butnot enough to cause me to not want to return. In the summer, the flies outside can be a but overwhelming. Read more
Was birding at North Point State Park and decided to check this place out for lunch. Glad we did! The food was delicious,... bathrooms were clean, outside seating was plentiful, and the waitress was friendly and prompt. My only suggestion would be tohave more items on the menu marked as Gluten Free, or have a separate gluten free menu. Read more
This restaurant, that I've been visiting for nearly 30 years has frequently changed owners and management but it's truly better... under the new owner and better than ever with John's management. We visited for appetizers today, Thanksgiving Day, with ourolder children who were having Thanksgiving dinner elsewhere but we wanted to visit beforehand. Great waitress, great pricingand great Thanksgiving Day atmosphere. John has made great upgrades to staff and food! Happy to have such a wonderful go-to inour little town. Read more
