Trini's is a Sparta staple for good reason. They have great food at good prices. There can be a wait at times, but staff is... always working hard to keep things moving. A wonderful restaurant, great food, great service. Trini, Joe and the families not only make you feel welcome as family, but... feed you like family. There are specials throughout the week. A dish for everyone. And if you dare...try the taco challenge. During busy hours, it does tend to get a bit noisy inside. The restaurant is an A+ for us!!! Read more

This is not authentic Mexican food, more like Midwest fare, not a lot of flavor. Waitress asked if we wanted chips and salsa... when we were seated but didn't tell us there was a $3 charge for stale chips and salsa that just tasted like tomato sauce.Portions are large, food isn't the worst I've ever had but definitely not the best. This is the second time I have eaten hereand not felt well later. Three of the six members of our party didn't feel well that evening and the next day. Read more
I went with a friend during their lunch rush. They've got cute specials at the door, I'm assuming it changes daily or... frequently. The nachos were fantastic. Drove 40 miles since I realized they could provide gluten free meal...my order was a simple taco salad w/chips on the... side...unfortunately they forgot onions and added beans so it was just a plate of mush... there was literally zero flavor! Myson got 2 tacos instead of the 3 he ordered and rice, he's a pretty plain eater and even he said his had no flavor...the ricehad nice color but taste like white rice...use to be wonderful and I ate there many times before my celiac diagnosis...was superhappy when they said they could accommodate...I didn't get sick, which is awesome, but food had no taste! The drinks.....well I'm hoping maybe the bar tender was in training. Tried a few and both bad. The group of people I was with... though the same thing. The food was actually the worst food I've had in a long time. Rather eat a nasty cheese burger fromMcDonald's. My entire group was disappointed in the food as well. The wait staff was great and friendly. The wait was long, which was fine, but the wait for cold food was longer than that. Friendly people though, which is a plus. Read more
