I absolutely LOVE, LOVE Asian Island. The food and ambiance are superb, the prices are more than reasonable and the people are... just amazing. Jackie, Sho, Lidia and others have become my second family for life. Asian Island is in my family's menu weeklyand as often as possible when cooking at home doesn't seem so attractive after a hard day at work. Visiting a good friend who suggested Asian Island . We went on a Thursday evening … 4 ppl at 6pm. The table was... comfortable… small dining room but clean . Our servers were very polite . We had 3 appetizers.. the sushi pizza, the sushicake and shrimp dumplings. Dinner 3 rolls and noodles The fish was exceptionally fresh .. presentation was pretty We allhad a nice time … I observed the restaurant does a lot of carry out food …. Do not order the Thai food. Its not authentic. I ordered Tom Yum seafood soup which is supposed to be spicy, sweet and sour.... I've had it many times before in other places. Asian Island soup is a disgrace. Bland and tasted like coconut milk with fishsauce, not spicy, barely sour. On top of that, this soup costs $10.80 for the size in the pic (compared to $7 I pay elsewherefor small). Not even my first time trying their Thai food. This is the only asian food around so its quite disappointing. AsianIsland, just stick to sushi and stop serving Thai food. Read more
Great food, always fresh and good size rolls. Actually most of them are huge as far as a special rolls go. This is the go to... spot for people in the area and myself on most days as it’s the nicest dining area and has the most tables. They have greatfood and I’ve never had something I didn’t like.
