We really wanted to like the product. Read many good reviews. Comes highly recommended by our neighbor. 1. They got the order... wrong. (my fault for not checking before leaving. I am not accustomed to doing that) 2. Pricey! Don't mind if the taste isexquisite. The taste was okay, similar to others. 3. Plenty of pepperoni but not nearly enough onion. Very sparse. Too bad, theonions were very tasty. 4. Not nearly enough sauce. It was not the experience we were expecting. Maybe this was a one off but itwas our one off. Not likely to travel 25 minutes for a pie. Wasn't the best place to bring a small family due to where we were seated. We were put at a table that could barely fit 2 people... with our 1 year old. We ended up having to leave (just not enough space) brought the food home with us. Kids Mac and cheese wasbigger than my ravioli special. Both were good but Mac and cheese overly salty. Not only were pistachios in the summer salad when it doesn't indicate pistachios in the summer salad on the online menu but the... manager (Fonzie) wanted to charge a delivery fee to exchange for a nut free salad. He also refused to refund just the salad. Wedrove back and returned our entire order and did receive a full refund. Nuts can actually kill some people. We weren't takenseriously unfortunately. Very poor service. Food was never that great but we like to support local. Sad the appreciation goesunnoticed. Will no longer support this business. Read more
This hidden gem in the new Sparta outdoor mall on Route 15 is an excellent restaurant. To call it a pizzeria would be doing it... a great disservice! Not only are their hot sandwiches excellent (may I recommend the chicken parm sandwich with vodka sauce andask to have it served on garlic bread!), I was very impressed with an amazing Cajun pasta dish on their specials menu the lasttime I went. The food is delicious, the dining room has plenty of seating (though I have had short waits), and the service wasattentive. I recommend them heartily! Read more
This time we were dining in. Everything is perfect. Clean and friendly environment, tasteful pizzas. But I guees need more... comunication between people behind the counter and waitresses. Read more

UPDATE.... I spoke to Dante, one of the owners, lovely man. He explained certain situations with young kitchen staff. He brought... to my attention, and I am aware how busy the restaurant is, and every order couldn?t possibly be double checked before leavingthe store, which is why he has staff assigned certain jobs...if they fail, then it makes a bad impression for theowners/restaurant. I just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge Dante and thank him for reaching out to me so we could addressmy issues. And, yes, I will be ordering again!! I use to work in Wayne, and we would order from Pizza One pretty much every dayfor lunch. It was fantastic. The food was phenomenal. Several years ago, I moved to Sussex County. And when they opened theSparta location couple of years, I was beyond thrilled. With that being said, I have to say, the food has definitely gonedownhill. The pizza is not good in my opinion, and the salads were outstanding, not any longer. Sometimes lettuce sitting inwater. Just seems to be thrown together whereas before it was chock-full of ingredients and it was just definitely the best. Andthe prices have definitely increased, a lot. Pizza one is a very nice family restaurant! The staff is very friendly. After being seated one of the staff brings a tall... bottle of water that you can have with your meal. For appetizer I had mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce. The baked zitiwas really tasty. For dessert I had Vanilla Gelato. It is the best I?ve had in years. For the price you pay you get a nicehelping. The menu has a good selection of entrees and appetizers. My waiter Jorden is humble and very polite he is veryknowledgeable about the menu and he even offered me to try their hot oil for my bread. Which was very nice. I highly recommendcoming here.
