I want to give this place 5 stars so bad! Pros: -Delicious, fresh ingredients -Great healthy options, low-cal options if you... look for them -Great alternative to other "fast foods" -Great location (Sparta) Cons: -Pricey, this is more expensive than anysmoothie-type place I've ever been, even in NYC. And bowls aren't consistently full so sometimes it can feel rough. -Thisparticular location is full of teens that don't seem to know much about the menu, asked questions on what to order post-workoutand they were like, an energy thing I guess?? -No calories posted anywhere on signage, on paper or on their website; for ahealthy alternative some of the bowls are very high in cals/sugar; harder to make choices regarding what I should keep/ditch/addto my smoothie/bowls. That's just truly in comparison to similar businesses that are marketed to the health conscious. I wish 0 was a choice because 1 is too generous for how I feel. I have not been a fan of Playa since my first visit years ago.... The prices are outrageous!! But my daughter loves the food. So today my daughter used her own hard earned money to place andorder online for pick up. Somehow the order placed for Sparta ended up at the Chester location. When she arrived at Sparta shewas told her food was not there and NO they couldn?t make it here and transfer the payment from Chester. REALLY?!?! So Playakeeps $13 and my daughter gets nothing ? Never again. And I?ll definitely tell my friends this poor customer service tale. Read more
They are so absolutely delicious. However, for 11.50 a bowl it should be full, not half full. And the order should be correct,... not missing toppings that you have paid for. Sooo, it?s a love/disappointment relationship. 2 bowls today, one full, one halffull and missing items. Yesterday, one bowl, little more than a 1/3 full and missing 2 items. Last week made at store it wasperfect. You?ll do better ordering in person I think. Read more
