We stopped for coffee and tea. Friendly staff, reasonable prices. The service was ok, we did ask for the WiFi code and she never... got back to us with it, during the 30 minutes we stayed, while drinking our beverages. There weren't that many guests. Astourists, we looked for and relied on the WiFi from local coffee shops whenever we stopped. 1 star knocked off. Read more

Great ambiance, plenty of seating, and an absolutely wonderful server. The ?caviar of the south? (pimento cheese plate) was... fabulous, and I ended up getting the spicy pimento cheese burger as well. It was cooked well and the crispy edges of the bunwere especially memorable. Cooked just how I like it. The potato soup I found very bland. They have a good selection ofciders and beers as well as a bar. I ordered off menu and got a hot chocolate with baileys. Perfect for a cold day Read more

If your server?s name is Madison. You might as well just get up and leave because she doesn?t know how to get an order or be... attentive at her job. Try to confront a manager he kept disappearing into the back instead of taking care of what he needed todo in the front. It was not busy was no need for the unnecessarily long wait and on attentiveness of a waitress I should?ve beentrained properly. Thank you Read more

Fantastic food and service when I went with my partner for dinner after a long day-out in Sparta. Great atmosphere that also has... live music some times (we had to leave right after the music started, but it was nice while we were there!) Food is reasonablypriced and service was good. Ketchup is HFCS free. Read more

My second visit to Muddy Creek, as good as I remembered. Server was very friendly and helpful. She answered our questions and... was attentive while we were there. We ate earlydinner, so they didn't have musicians yet but they were setting things up forit. I had a pimento, jalapeño hamburger. Perfection! Just enough heat, hamburger cooked well but no burned meat. The buncomplimented the toppings. My husband had an open-faced Tuna melt, wonderful! Tuna was good, cheese melted over avocado & tuna. The macaroni salad and French fries were both good. Decor is rustic with nice artwork scattered around the room They haveoutdoor seating but we chose indoor table. They serve some hard ciders and craft beers besides of soft drinks. They have anassortment of T-shirts, snacks some ready to cook meals like Chicken pot pies & desserts to go, etc. Read more

Fried avocados!! Atmosphere so pleasant and good food and beverages. I keep going back. Yummy key lime pie. Great... service. 12/31/2021 - Tables are spaced out which is good due to virus. Had a super bottle of Prosecco, dry and flavorful. Ihad salmon perfectly cooked and fresh flavor with smashed potatoes and asparagus. I asked for some bread and they brought out anice piece of focaccia. The fluffy dessert cheesecake makes me want to go back and get another piece! Relaxed atmosphere andgood food!!! Read more

Had a nice dining experience at the Muddy Creek Cafe in Sparta, NC. The double bacon cheeseburger and fries were served fresh,... hot, and quite tasty. My server was friendly, quick, and gladly answered my questions about different items on their extensivemenu. The cafe is full of rustic decor and peppered with great local works of art. The cafe was quite clean and designed toallow customers plenty of personal space. The food portions were of a better than average size but prices were also slightlyhigher than average as well. The sweet tea and pickles were very good. I will definitely stop in again when I'm in Sparta. Read more
