I can't believe in all the years I've been coming here, that I haven't left a review. I love coming here, the atmosphere is... always nice. I enjoy the relaxing music, the decor and the warm colors of the dining area. The bathrooms can get a littletricky when its busy because they don't have stalls, but you can't beat the privacy either. Food is never disappointing, italways tastes fresh and comes out hot. I have never ordered something I didn't enjoy. You can tell they take pride in theiringredients. Read more
Sweetly old-fashioned, proverbial "hole in the wall" close to WalMart in Spartanburg. Very warm wait staff and loved hearing... Italian being spoken - adds a feeling of authenticity. Reliable quality and similar to hime made. Definitely recommend! Read more
I couldn't choose what I wanted so I asked for my food to be cooked a special way. The cook made my food to order w/an extra... charge but reasonable & it was soooo delicious. Better than expected hands down. The Chocolate Mousse Cake was so delicious wasvery light. Hands down the food was so good. Read more
Well Italian cuisine is not necessarily my favorite cuisine so I opted out of the pasta and sauce type dishes and went with a... favorite of mine, shellfish and vegetables. The mussels were sauteed in a white wine butter sauce that was good. It could havebeen seasoned a bit better(herbs, salt, and acid) but overall solid sauce. Being completely honest, the food was not my favorite but was not bad. The service was not that great but i completely... understand the shortage of personal. Something that I really love was the spumoni which was a delicious ice cream (chocolate,strawberry and pistachio I would think because was green) I rush to eat it so I completely forgot about the pictures. This place serves some of the best Italian food I have had the pleasure of eating. Excellent service and just a great... atmosphere. I had the Saltimabocca Alla Romana , veal with prosciutto and spinach and the wife had Al Salmone. Just a wonderfulexperience. Excellent Italian menu! Although our waiter told us they are known for pizza, we thoroughly enjoyed our caprese appetizer and... baked lasagna! The sausage in the lasagna was excellent! We didn't try any of their wines but their bottle prices were quitereasonable. There was plenty of seating when we arrived at 7:15 on a Thursday, and didn't wait long for our food. The waiter wasalso extremely friendly and conversational. Overall, it was an excellent meal and we're looking forward to going back andexpanding our menu selections! Read more
