Really good first experience. Moved in to Spartanburg early this year and this was one of the first places we visited. Nicer... than other restaurants we?ve visited within this cost range. I thought the prices were fair and the service was great. Plan oncoming back in the future. Read more
Good Mexican food in a downtown atmosphere. I guess Mexican food is subjective, but my wife said their were fajitas we're far... better than anywhere else in Spartanburg, and I loved the Mole Chicken. Their mole is more savory and not as chocolatey sweet assome places do it. We'll be back. Read more
We went for lunch and our meal was okay. We had the flautas and a lunch special with a quesadilla and taco. It was good but it... seemed to lack the flavor we were expecting. It was odd that the flautas were listed as $8 and the lunch special as $7 but wewere charged $9 and $10 respectively. Our server was nice and all people we dealt with were nice, just not sure why the priceschanged from the menu. We will go back and try and something different and I would recommend anyone in the area give it a try. Read more
This is the new location in Chester SC off of J A Cochran Bypass across from McDonalds. The menu has their Spartanburg address... on it. The chips were stale. Our food was served cold. The waitress was not friendly at all. The fajatias had squash andzucchini in them which was different than we use to. My husband didn't like it but you might. I got the Chimi Rica. It was oknot a lot of flavor. Waitress forgot the salad that goes with. Also extra charge for rice and beans with fajaitas at lunch $2each. Total cost with $5 tip for lunch $33.00. This was my 1st time here and everything was good. The staff was very friendly and quick. Very cool atmosphere and definitely... will be back we had tacos and pork quesadilla. I ordered beef enchiladas that came filled with chicken (makes sense), and would have asked my server if that was a normal... thing, but she never returned to our table (someone from the kitchen delivered our meal). No one stopped by the table to ask ifwe needed anything or was the food ok. We had to ask for our bill so we could leave. I always have low expectations for Mexicanrestaurants so I?m not disappointed but Mezcal succeeded in coming under my low bar. Not going back. Read more
