Applebee's was busy tonight. But the food was great and our waitress was great. There was some unhappiness about a gift card... by another customer as we were waiting to be seated. I guess all I can say is that this is a chain restaurant and keep in mindthat gift cards are available through so many different outlets. You have to know that you aren't walking into a mom and popplace - you have to follow the chain rules. Read more
We had a brief (15 minute) wait for a seat. The menu is almost certainly similar pr identical to other Applebee's regionally if... not nationally. The food was plentiful and competitively priced. I had a 4 cheese macaroni with chicken tenders, which wasgood even if it doesn't quite compare to a similar dish that I had elsewhere recently. The menu didn't have prices on drinks,which is an annoyance, if an understandable accommodation in times of high inflation. Service-wise, I suspect they try tobalance the number of open tables with their staffing levels, which I think is reasonable. The server was attentive andhelpful. He did try to be helpful in saving us money with a "two entrees for 'a lower price'" deal -- and, in the end, itworked. It's just that the program was hard for us to understand, which it lead to an easily resolved misunderstanding at billtime. (Be sure to re-read the menu if you want to take advantage of the program.) So, no harm, no foul. I do recommend therestaurant, if chain restaurants are your thing. Read more
Friendly server. Somewhere along the line, though, miscommunication/inattentiveness/something! The part of our order that should... have come first came towards the end of our meal. And that, after asking about it/reminding multiple times. It was not busy atthat time of the evening. Kind of disappointing. The food was delicious, just disappointed in the service. Read more
This Applebee's is seriously lacking. First time we went the food took a long time to come out and there was a ton of flies..but... we decided to give it a 2nd chance, well tonight the hostess was rude she didn't greet us and I had to repeat myself on thenumber in our party. I ordered a raspberry tea and was given a strawberry lemonade. We had to ask for silverware when the foodcame. I ordered a steak and it came out so full of grizzle and like leather on the outside that I couldn't cut it (orderedmedium rare). The manager offered to make me another one but never apologized for such a horrible steak. The 2nd one was ok,when we received the bill the waitress said the manager was going to give a discount for the bad steak, when she brought thebill back they took 10% off, so $1.70 WHY EVEN BOTHER ..$1.70 for the hassle of having to wait for a steak to be redone, whenthe bad one should have never been plated! 2 bad experiences, we won't be back! Good atmosphere. A wee bit under-staffed (who isnt these days). There were a total of 3 different ppl who attended to us, when... was only supposed to be our server. Kinda hard to tip when that happens! Overall, food was good. Read more
I ordered some food to go but when I got it home and cut into my steak which was supposed to be medium rare I noticed it was... cooked well done and to the point that it was dry and hard to chew. I hate leaving bad reviews but this is the second time thishas happened to me. Read more
Here for a work trip, what I enjoyed the most was the service, our waitress was on point, really attentive to provide great... customer service, according to my ticket her new was Isabel( she told us her name at the beginning but I forgot it) thankfullymy ticket had her name on it. Anyway, the manager seemed like he was on point as well, usually managers like to bark orderswithout lifting a finger to work, but not here, in this case he was actually getting his hands dirty, that's some teamwork! Had a few too many margaritas with the old lady and my boys, ended up throwing up in the booth we were sat at. Staff was super... understanding, and was able to relocate my family in just a jiffy. Overall Great experience! Read more
