The owners are very friendly. We are weary and hungry travelers who entered PizzaRanch in Spearhead, SD shortly before they... closed. They gave us a pizza box to go and told us for 10.00 we could pack as much as we wanted into it. ... It was yummy. Thechicken was delicious. Next time we travel through this area, Pizza ???? My family went with my Grandma (hours drive) and was not worth the price (would of been if food was good.) No food for long time... slow eating due waiting. Chicken wasn't fully cooked nor pizza. Would of preferred our money back. Read more
First time ever there and definitely the last. Even though we live in the Deadwood area. The place needed a deep clean. The food... when we first arrived was pizza left from the previous buffet . We got there around 4 for the supper buffet thinking everythingwould be fresh. After being there about a half hour they started putting fresh out. The manager finally told staff to cleantables but it was done sub par to someone who runs a hotel kitchen and knows clean. Read more
I hate to do this because we used to love pizza ranch but my fiance and I went here for lunch today. 4 basic pizzas and bread... sticks were the only thing on the pizza side. They were all also cold. Potatoes, gravy and corn were hot. Everything else wascold. My fiance had a raw drumstick. I have been sick sense about an hour after we ate. Employees were randomly eating off thebuffet never once saw a supervisor. No one cleaned dirty plates and there were employees walking by to use the restroom. Theyasked if we had a request for a pizza we wanted and we asked for a buffalo chicken and it came out just chicken and cheese notfully cooked. It was dirty and not well managed. I usually don't write bad reviews, and usually bite my lip but this visit is the straw that broke the camel's back. Every time... I have eaten here, it has been abysmal. I won't go into details on other times visited, but this last time they had no, and Imean NO pizza's ready at 12:00 P..M for lunch. How can a Pizza Buffet have no pizza coming up next at the lunch hour? Regardless if they were swamped, which they weren't, have some pizza coming up hot and ready this early in the lunch rush. Literally had to wait 45 minutes for pizza, had to eat fast as my lunch hour was up. This is suppose to be a buffet whereoptions are as equal to the amount of food that should be available! Will NOT be coming back to Pizza Ranch of Spearfish for avariety of reasons and horrible memories of past experiences. Needs new management. Read more
