Believe it or not, we came from Ontario to Spencer to see the public library, where Dewey the cat as rescued 35 years... ago. Decided to stay the night in town, and this sounded like a place we'd like to eat at. It would have been good, butunremarkable, except for the experience that our waitress provided. I'm sorry not to have caught your name, you're new (3 weeks)and was previously employed at a trick stop and currently have a pregnant kitty cat. This lady was a real character...perhapsfor some tastes a bit too chatty, but we liked her down to earth friendliness and she made the evening for us. The food wasgreat too! Good price, good selection and fast. Hot beef sandwich with mashed potatoes and gravy, and a burrito platter. Sogood! Hey, thanks a lot for making our evening interesting! I am giving you 3 stars because the last two times we ate at your restaurant we ordered hamburgers and fries and cheeseburgers... and cheese balls. You gave us 7 cheese balls and about 10 fries. Both times.Good food but come on! Don?t be stingy on the sides. Read more
