Its a good place for home cooked meal. They offer nice specials too that are different than whats on menu which is nice.

Food was okay. Meatballs a bit burnt and my husband and I got hot turkey sandwiches.... the mashed had the consistency of... instant potatoes and the turkey was dry . Probably won't return. Read more

The Old style sit in has a very authentic I hop vibe to it. With a greasy breakfast, it seems like the best cure for a hangover,... but on a basic day just like any other Denny's or a I hop. The food is good and the service is fast although the restaurant isfull of people that could be my great grandparents, it's quiet, quick, clean and yummy. The price for portions is reasonable! My wife and I had breakfast at Slayton Place on Sat. morning. My wife had a vegetarian omelet with hash browns and I had eggs,... sausage links and pancakes. Everything was delicious with the exception of the pancakes, which were sour. I mentioned this toour server and she had a fresh batch made. She returned with an additional pancake and this batch was much better. I highlyrecommend breakfast at this diner. The food was delicious, portions were large and the service was excellent. I'll definitely beback. This was the tastiest breakfast that I've had in Rochester. Read more
They say they open at 5:30am but they do not take orders for food until 7:00am. They only serve coffee or drinks at 5:30. I?ve... brought this to there attention and still no change. Food is good though. Read more
