I had one of the best dining experiences ever! The food and wine was amazing! I have to say the one thing that set it above the... rest was our waitress. Jodie was amazing! She guided us with her recommendations with full 100% success! We loved our food! Shewas very tentative to not only us, but also her other tables she was helping. In town overnight, and the Italian Kitchen was around the corner from my hotel. The attentive and personable waitress... recommended the chicken formaggio, and it was excellent. Huge portion too! The Caesar salad was made the way I like it -- veryfresh lettuce and thoroughly tossed in a nice dressing (not too heavy or sharp). Creme brulee was good, not great. My husband and I came here for my birthday and it was amazing! I got the clam linguine and he got the chicken parmigiana and... both were delicious. Really appreciate the early 20th century design and decor. Service is always excellent as are the cocktails. This is the upper... end for Italian dining in Spokane and their regional cooking may not appeal to everyone. My wife finds their red sauces a bitspicy for her but is happy with their white. I have been modestly disappointed only one time in the many years we have dinedhere. Read more
Environment & service were nice, but the food was disappointing, especially for the prices. I ordered the lobster ravioli; it... was oddly sweet and overall not enjoyable. My mom ordered a steak, and while it was cooked well, it was very flavorless. Mysister ordered a pasta dish with sausage and again, the flavors were sweet and not enjoyable. The meal overall was veryexpensive, and not worth it as we all left feeling hungry. We so badly wanted to like the food because the service and locationwere nice, but we didn?t. Excellent and friendly staff. Delicious food at a decent price. You can even create your own dish and do half-and-half.
The atmosphere is charming but the best part of our visit was definitely the service and food. Jodi was our server and she was... so helpful and fun. Food came at a good speed. I had the Tuscan chicken and it was amazing! My husband had the sausage ravioli,and it was ok. We did get the tiramisu and enjoyed it. Read more
