Walking into this place feels like a journey into the 1970s. Even the music over the speakers gives me the feel of my teenage... years. However, the service is over the top and the staff is amazingly friendly. The facility was beautiful, staff was amazing!!! 50 years ago we celebrated our wedding reception at the Mirabeau (then the... Lamplighter) on July 15th we celebrated our 50 anniversary. The staff, especially Lori, went out of their way to make it specialfor us and our whole family that came and stayed. The waitress who handled all the food & drink orders couldn't have been niceror more accommodating. The rooms were perfect, the restaurant as good as advertised, and the venue in the courtyard brought backlasting memories. Booked a room as a wedding night gift, Robert got me the best rate and I was allowed to go in to decorate for The newlywed... couple. Noticed a billing error a few days later called and spoke to Tony and she was very pleasant and accommodating and got merefunded right away. Positive: Staff provided room in location requested. Cleaning service every second day. Max restaurant very good for regular... dining. Negative: Absolutely impossible to find assistance in luggage. Old school hotel with windows that open!???? Love this hotel! Courtyard or exterior balconies on all rooms. Everyone from the... professional cleaning staff to the reception desk to the restaurant/bar to the manager are all very friendly and helpful. Location is great! Just on the edge of Spokane if traveling through makes it great for easy on and off of the interstate.... Affordability was reasonably, I booked online through Priceline, and when I checked in there was an additional $75 damage feeand basically a whole contract to initial and sign saying you agree, you won't smoke, etc.. Or you pay us more! The customerservice was friendly and helpful, answered all my questions, and were patient. The room was clean had a large stain on thecarpet near the television stand, the room smelled musty (dingy) like an old hotel, however looked like it had been updated. Thebeds were comfortable and bathroom was large. I did not get around to exploring the pool or the rest of the facility. However, Ido look forward trying their breakfast! Read more

My only reason for giving it four stars instead of five is because it's an older hotel. But the rooms were fresh and clean,... super comfortable bed, really left nothing to be desired. Customer service and management, the same. My reservation had beencanceled by mistake, possibly my fault, and the hotel was sold out. However, the staff and general manager gave me personalizedattention, found a room for me and arranged a 3:15 a.m. shuttle to the airport. This is a really nice hotel, I was impressed, it was clean, great accomodations, I even took the soap from the room because it... smelt good. They have a pool and a jacuzzi. The hotel is somewhat haunted, as I felt like someone was following on the 3rd floorbut nobody was there which was cool but don't let that stop you from coming to this awesome hotel. They got everything you needand they have a lot of businesses within walking distance of the hotel so it was nice. They do have wheelchair accessible andchild friendly areas. Fun for the whole family and young adults looking to enjoy their adulthood. And they even have a nice walkin shower that is big enough to sit down in. Read more
