Good place and good prices in Spooner. I would give 5 stars if the restaurant were open for dining in.
Very unpleasant experience, all of the way around! From the terrible quality of food, to the unprofessional, female, manager... that had answered the phone, when I had called the restaurant, immediately after tasting the food. (I was not interested indriving back over there to get my money back.) I was simply calling to inform them that the sauce was not the correct sauce forthe type of dish ordered, and that the chicken must have been reheated (maybe multiple times!!) & That the entire container wasnot even near being edible. She raised her voice & proceeded on with...."that is how they deep fry their chicken there",followed with "maybe I no like that entree because the sauce can be a little salty". The chicken Egg Foo Young had little, tonone of anything in the entree other than the egg in both of the 2, patties. (The white sauce/gravy that was a special request,for over that entree...was delightful.) However the two tablespoons of gravy that was in the container with & for the twopatties, was absolutely not enough! I responded with ma'am, I do not want to return the food to the restaurant as now I have tocook dinner. I explained that I have also been eating Chinese food (this specific type of entree/menu item for over 20 years...&That I experienced & enjoyed this particular entree @ over 100+ different establishments. The quality of not only the meat thatwas used in (this case, it was the chicken) that they used for my order of General Tao Chicken, it was absolutely disgusting.The CHICKEN/BREADING appeared to have been fried to long or possibly even depried more than once. So crunchy that it wasimpossible for any of us to even chew. The sauce was definitely not even the normal flavored GENERAL TAO sauce. I'm unable toidentify it!) Maybe a new cook in the kitchen?!
