Woman who owns this place is horrible! Rude is an understatement. Demands you go to ShopRite & get cash so ?no tax? And don?t... ask her to write on the cake. For a gender reveal she wrote DO Date, instead of Due Date and then argued about the spelling &refused to fix it or give a refund. Based on the reviews how is this place still in business?! The lady that works hear is quite the character. She can be rude, but is fine as long as you don?t try to use a coupon and don?t... make a snarky remark when she points to the tip jar. If you ask for a sample, you?ll need a magnifying glass to see it (since itis like a half filled spoon, the smallest spoon you?ve seen in your life). Ice cream is very good! Read more

Honestly always have had a bad time here, the first time I ordered from here through Uber eats for pickup, my mother also wanted... an additional cone, coming in I was told there was a 10$ min fee on card. Having no problem w that I told the women working thecounter I would run to my car and grab the cash, she demanded to hold my credit card in the meantime so I can grab the cash.Please note at this time she hadnt even made the ice cream so there was no reason for her to hold onto my card. Just now Iordered a sundae dasher via Uber eats for delivery and I get a call from my driver witb the old lady stating such a productdidn?t exist and that the price was wrong. I simply asked her to cancel as it?s not my fault this product is listed on the app. Read more

Carvels product is renowned, how dare I say it,but the ice cream cakes are let's face it,legendary..who can say no to Fudgy the... Whale,a pack of chiwich sandwiches or a sprinkle cup. This is a review of Carvels in general more than the location. You won'tget much conversation or help here from staff,this woman has been here forever,but you will definitely get the price clearlystated. Read more

Ordered via doordash and came to the store with my 4 and 2 year old sons, excited to get ice cream. I was told there was no... order, and the older lady running the store had ME call doordash, instead of honoring my order and sorting it out with doordashlater (I showed her email confirmation of my order). This process took 20 minutes with my usually rowdy sons waitingsurprisingly patiently. Doordash noted the noncompliant store and issued me a refund with additional credit. I decided to rewardmy boys and buy a pair of flying saucer ice cream sandwiches. The lady proceeded to grab them with her bare hands to give to me,and then had the gall to charge me double the listed price. I told her she is overcharging me, and she said if you don't paythat, you can't have it. I refused and she withdrew the saucers from in front of my boys' faces. I told her off and promised hera bad review (so many of them already), then treated my boys to coldstone. I just hope the place shudders so others don'tcontinue to have bad experiences. Read more

I ordered an ice cream cake and candles for my husband's birthday through Door Dash. My driver called and said that the lady at... the counter at Carvel would not give him the cake because the order hadn't been received and paid for although I received anotification on my end that payment had been processed. When I called the Carvel store a lady answered and then I believe justput the phone to the side because I could hear what was going on in the store but she wasn't responding to me any longer. Ordered using the door dash app for 5:55 p.m. pick up. Order was confirmed and marked ready at 5:45. When I got to the shop the... lady asked me my name 3 times, asked me to spell it out and then said she did not have my order. Lady then tried to get me toorder and pay again. When I refused she started yelling at me to order here and not use doordash. She then began to yell sayingI am being difficult when I moved out of the way to contact support and so she can help the person who walked in behind me.Would not recommend anyone supporting this independently owned Carvel. Don?t support a business with extremelyyy rude owners. I wasn?t going to write a review, but seeing how others had a similar... experience, I feel compelled. I ordered an ice cream cake for a friend, with a special message on the cake. Only after I calledto confirm the order does the lady say ?I already wrote this much it won?t fit anymore?. I said okay, (kind of wondering if Ididn?t call, would I just have gotten an incorrect cake? Why did she start writing if she knew she couldn?t finish it?) Ipolitely asked her if she could just write my name on the box so that the person I?m sending it to knew it was a little giftfrom me. She insists that she?s not redoing the cake with an attitude. I clarified that?s not what I was asking, and she startsbecoming super snappy and repeats herself three times. When she finally understands me, she says ?that is not my job to write onthe box have your doordasher do it.? And I hear her throw her phone down in anger. I was so baffled because I was nothing butpolite and she was getting so flustered for no reason. Please support businesses who don?t treat the people who keep theirbusiness alive like garbage.
