This was my first time visiting Handel's. I had heard from friends that it was really good and I can honestly say they weren't... lying ???? My husband and I shared a small dish (2 1/2 scoops) of a flavor called Monkey Business. This was banana flavored icecream with caramel drizzle and brownie chunks. All I can say is DELICIOUS ???? The banana ice cream tasted like banana puddingand the mixture of the caramel and the brownie was just perfect. Wish I would have taken a picture. Maybe next time!???????????? Read more
Ice cream was super good. They only have outdoor seating and there are no bathrooms or a sink to wash your hands after sitting... outside in the heat while your ice cream melts on your hands... Other than that, great place with yummy ice cream. Will bereally nice in the winter. Read more
This is the absolute best ice cream in Texas! Fresh, real, ingredients without artificial flavoring. Not too sweet. So many... options from which to choose! Their Salted Caramel and Monkey Business flavors are so incredibly good! No inside seating is theonly drawback- but I don?t care because there isn?t any other ice cream as good as theirs. Read more
Good ice cream and milkshakes!! I had the milkshake for the first time. I ordered a strawberry milkshake regular (not thick)... and it was good. The ice cream is big enough for two people. Sometimes I shared with my husband or order less scoops. Service isgood! The only bad thing about the place is that there is not indoor seating and with this Texas weather we need indoor seating. This was our first time here and we will definitely be back. The ice cream was delicious! There are so many flavors to pick from... but on this trip the Coffee Chocolate Chip was the choice and there were zero regrets. Read more
Great taste, and lots of options. Downside? No indoor eating right yet. At 7pm on a Texas summer afternoon our cool treats... turned into a hot mess. With in 60 seconds my hand was covered in drips. Within 3 minutes it was a drink. The chocolate peanutbutter brownie was delicious. Mango sorbet had yummy mango chunks. Just make sure to get a bowl and lots of napkins. Read more
Went for a date night. Very reasonably priced, with lots and lots of flavors to choose from. We tried 10 (there was no line) and... liked them all. We enjoyed the milk shakes, while I've had thicker it was pretty good. The other review said that he has waterthicker than this should get his pipes replaced :p Read more
People reviewing like they've never had real homemade ice cream before. That's what happens with actual ice cream, it melts, not... like your store bought "frozen dessert" that has more ice crystals than actual cream. Besides that, this place is the bestwe've had since our favorite homemade ice cream spot in Oregon! Flavors have actual fruit and chocolate instead of corn syrupflavors, and they are all so rich. It's hard to choose a favorite, but mine right now is the Banana Cream Pie! Staff is alwaysfriendly and patient when trying different flavors to make a decision. We're so glad this is near home and have to practice willpower not to stop by every week. Read more
