Just as 3 stars indicate, it's OK, not a 5 star restaurant. I had the 2 piece fried cod dinner. The coating was a bit soft. ... It comes with 2 potato pancakes that occupied about 2/3 of the plate. The potato pancakes we're extremeley "mushy", not crispat all. I didn't eat about 1 1/3 of the 2. The person on my left ordered the chili and her comment was "well, it certainlyisn't homemade". I might give "The Cabin" one more try, not sure if I want to waste any more money there. There are plenty ofother better restaurants down the road in Antioch to visit Read more
Don't go for breakfast!!! It sucks! I ordered a #2 just plain ole bacon with poached eggs. I was supposed to get 3, there were... only two and drowned in water, bacon & potatoes totally greasy and undercooked. Husband ordered biscuits & gravy. The biscuit hehad to saw through, we didnt eat it, paid the bill and no one asked why. Read more
Beautiful views, delicious food, superb waitstaff. We are from Wisconsin but make a point to visit at least once a year.
Good atmosphere, I used to come here 25 years ago....not too much has changed. Except, for the food. Hopefully it was just our... selection. I had the CBLT, served on Texas toast it was less than spectacular. Definitely like the toast but I'll never orderAmerican cheese on a BLT again. Wife ordered a Chicago dog, which I raised my eyebrows at, only because this far away from thecity you just never know what you're going to get. They didn't disappoint.....my way unfortunately. I would literally beembarrassed to serve that. First, it came out plain and then it came back..... well, plain bun, no celery salt and I'd almostbet it wasn't even a Vienna sausage. Had breakfast, service was speedy, food was good. Hashbrowns were tasty, not burnt and didn't taste like old cooking oil. Mimosa... flight was good. They had thick sliced raisin bread toast very tasty. Read more
This place is absolute garbage! They try to add extra charges to your debit card while you?re enjoying your night out listening... to music or just eating. The hamburgers are $13 a piece and taste like they?re made with dog food. Store bought pizzas arebetter than their so called homemade pizzas that start at $20 each. The waitresses and especially the managers are patheticbusiness people. If you want to go to a place and be robbed of your money and eat dog food KCs cabin is the place for you. Read more
Good food, had blue cheese burger and pulled pork sandwich with fries. Next time going to try the tater tots. Super friendly... staff, Summer was very nice attentive made sure everything was good. And the manager Nicole aware of everything going on. Veryoutgoing talks with everyone while keeping aware what is happening in the restaurant. Very outstanding woman. Read more
First, EXPENSIVE! Second, less than spectacular service. Our actual waitress was no where to be found 90% of time, order was... wrong, didn't get drinks. We waited quite awhile to order. Food was out quickly thought, a lady that wasn't our waitress broughtall the food, ran for refills and other needs. Third, food was average for a bar. Read more
