-I was TAXED FOR NOT PAYING CASH!! -charged 1.75 for this small sour cream -18.46 total for this plate shown in picture -food... taste bland I should have just asked for a refund when I was taxed for not paying cash !! Will never go here again ! They shouldatleast let people know they rent the credit machines and tax people to be able to pay it off smh . A real business issuccessful and doesn?t need to take extra money from you !! Do not eat here !! Food was gross ! And the fact that this box withbland food came out to over $18 is ridiculous . When I spoke to other people I know in the area of Spring Hill about chulas theysaid : ?ewww don?t eat there it?s disgusting ? if only I would have known ? now you do ! The rice and beans were tasteless and dry but their cheese Chile Relleno with green salsa was good. I also loved their Loco... Nachos appetizers. I didn't try their Flautas but those looked good. The food portion was good as well. Read more
We just enjoyed one first time visiting Chulas Mexican Grill on Mariner Blvd & Spring Hill Dr. Excellent customer service, the... restaurant was nicely decorated with the cute traditional Mexican decor and the entire restaurant is very clean. The ChickenTortilla Soup was divine, it was topped with fresh avocados and crispy tortillas chips made in house. The Carne asadas tacostasted very authentic with lots of cilantro, red onions, and a few wedges of lime with slices of delicious carne asada. We alsoordered chicken flautas the tortillas were super crunch and the the shredded chicken was juicy and well seasoned. Definitelyplan on returning with our kids soon. Read more
A restaurant has ONE CHANCE to make a good first impression of its goods, service, and atmosphere. Myself and my Wife ordered... chicken Fajitas and two margaritas each, plus ice teas. The margaritas were watered down and tasteless, the chicken fajitascontained almost NO vegetables, where it should have had onions, multi colored bell peppers, tomato?s. The rice and beans didnot come with any guacamole, and we had to ask for more then the dab of sour cream served, plus order and pay for guacamole atextra cost. Cheap, Cheap, and very Cheap, poor food presentation. Multiple ( at least 2) management employed stood andwatched the patrons, but did nothing to assist the short staff waitresses/waiters. When we were ready to leave, we were askedweather we wanted more chips and salsa. The bussing employees were in a rush to take our plates before we were finished eating. Having lived in Southern California for 36 years, Arizona for 5 years, and eating in both Baja Mexico, and Las Algadones,Mexico, this food was horrible. Just checked into Chula?s Mexican Grill...! What an exceptional staff and absolutely excellent customer service!! I love,love,... love theDecor and fun atmosphere here!authentic Mexican food is hard to find and I have now found a Mexican Grill that I will bereturning to again and again!! The dishes were presented beautifully and sooo delicious!! Well done Chula?s the drinks werefantastic as well!!! This is all a matter of personal taste of food. However my husband and I both deemed that this restaurant is a bit "white" for a... real authentic want for Mexican food. Only cheese, lettuce and tomatoes come on a taco. Normal ones is onions cilantro and lime.Also they are a bit pricy at $14 for only 3 pastor tacos no sides included... however taco Tuesday they are only $2.50 each.They only have the basic tacos available for taco Tuesday of beef, chicken or pork. Their ala cart options are a bit high aswell. If you do like sour cream it is $1.75 for a small container. Overall staff was great, people were nice, but we are notsold on the authentic craving we were looking for, for a Mexican food restaurant. Read more
