Steak and Shake is one of my favorite places for shakes. I took advantage of the Happy Hour program and was able to get a few... half off shakes for me and my kids. Great experience and quick and friendly service. My only question is whatever happened tothe specialty shakes? I don't see many of them on kiosk lately. Read more
Ever since one of the managers left, this place has gone seriously downhill to the max. Burgers aren?t as good, the workers will... usually just throw fries in a bag and call it a day and then has the audacity to give less than a large even though that?s whatI paid for, I would always get a regular size shake and they would fill it half way even though I paid for a regular size. Ialso would always get cheese fries and it costs more? but they would usually always forget the cheese and I would have to goinside to get some. Had to stop going to this location and I now drive further down us 19 to go to the one that?s closest tospringhill which is a way much further drive, at least an extra 20-35 minutes of a drive but it?s worth it because this locationin Spring Hill is terrible. The staff was super friendly and our order was right but the prices have increased. So much that a family of 4 can not even get... shakes anymore with their meals. $6 a shake? I'll go to the DQ for less. Was also charged to add grilled onions to my burger,and to switch the type of cheese on my burger. Mind blowing.. Read more
We believe they may have changed they're sandwich ingredients. The male waiter was wonderful. Very kind and attentive and the... restaurant was very clean. Food was not the normal great tasting cheeseburgers. Mistakes happen but shouldn't at over $24.00 for2 cheeseburger meals with shakes. Thanks JB 2022 . Will try again in the future . Read more
Excellent 50's style burger place. Steakburgers are extremely tasty and much better than the typical fast food burger joints.... Shoestring fries are tasty and different. Service is excellent. Open late! Read more
I don?t think I?ve ever left a review on any restaurant let alone a fast food chain but I have to this time. This was by far the... best experience I?ve had at any fast food restaurant, as soon as I came in, man at the door greeted me with enthusiasm , he alsoassured all customers were helped and satisfied. I used to love this place. It's still good but some things that didn't need changing have changed. You are no longer seated. You... order on a kiosk immediately after you enter and then seat yourself with no instruction. There is an attendant that seems toserve the entire floor including cleaning, wiping tables, serving trays, helping with kiosks and more. He was doing a great jobbut was probably only doing a fraction of that before all these changes. Anyway there was also no Cajun spice or self servecondiments on the table. Seems like a small thing but that was something basically unique to S&S and I would go back just forthat Cajun spice. Now I'll have to bring my own. Or just not go. Maybe they have it if I had asked, but I don't think I shouldhave to ask for something that used to be just sitting on every table for decades. Food was good. Parking easy.
