Stopped in Sunday coming back from Table Rock Lake. Stopped in first time BTW. It was absolutely freezing in there. Cpl bites... had to take it to go. Should have know when the waitress is wearing a sweater. BBQ was OK ill try ribs next time. Read more
We did a rather good sized catering order. We came to pick it up. They had given us everything from plates, forks, buns, etc.... Food was still hot. As we were setting the buffet out we realized the beans were missing. Made a call and they dropped whateverthey were doing and drove those beans to us. I'm not sure who it was because we were having a bean missing panic moment andgetting close to the time the people were coming in to eat but he was super nice. You could tell he wrapped those beans like hewas on a mission and showed up in record time. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was amazing. Not all heros wearcapes. This is my second favorite Kansas City BBQ! It?s really one of the best! I usually get the ham and turkey sandwich. I?ve also... had the tenderloin and the killer. I just really can?t do the ribs. The service here is also VERY quick and efficient! I alsoreally love how it has a Western theme. It?s absolutely worth the drive out Spring Hill! I highly recommend you come hereif/when you?re in the area. I?ve given them my business for many years and look forward to for many more years to come! Read more
Pretty good barbecue. We've had the family BBQ dinner a couple of times now (we choose pulled pork and brisket), been good both... times. Hefty portions. Not a huge fan of the beef to be honest, but it's not bad. As others have pointed out, while it's good,I'm not blown away by it either. I particularly like more smoky flavors like some other well known places closer towards thecity. That being said, particular shout out for the potato salad. My wife and I are usually pretty picky when it comes to potatosalads for some reason, but it was a big win in both of our opinions. Baked beans are also good with the brisket chunks. We hadtake out both times with no desserts so I can't speak to that or the sevice, but I definitely see why their newly paved parkinglot is usually decently full on the weekends. Read more
Had the ribs and sausage combo. Great portions. Sauce was sweet and savory. Beans were sweet also only thing I didn't like was... the pasta salad it's a vinegar type. Personally I'm a Mayonnaise guy. But all in all pretty good Read more
Really good stuff. Great service and fair price. The BBQ was certainly KC style and the sides were generous. The K and M sauce... was certainly a KC BBQ Smokey and sweet type sauce. We were a little disappointed with the jalapeño poppers appetizer and thepecan pie slice. It is not that anything was particularly bad; certainly, we enjoyed our food and would and will gladly return,I do however believe that the two minor issues addressed here were not 5 star type components. I haven't been here in years and decided to go after church with my family. They were able to seat 20 of us on short notice. Our... server was friendly and our order came out quick and good. Their burnt ends are fire. Fried greenbeans and okra were also a hit. Read more
