It was your average family owned Chinese place. Nothing really stood out. The owners daughter taking orders could have been... friendlier. I thought the prices seemed high but the portions were pretty big if you care about quantity over quality. Weaccidentally spent almost 50 dollars for two people and the chunk of the charges came from substituting the white rice forsomething else. Absolute rip-off. Thrown together haphazardly with barely a hint of authentic Chinese quality or flavour?this dinner left us... with regrets and heartburn. Imagine ordering a shrimp and cashew dish that turned up red and 84% bamboo shoot cubes; it smelledand tasted absolutely awful. The shredded beef was in the same red sauce and also only 3% protein. Something has changed. We have had carry out from China One almost every weekend for 6 years. Literally hundreds of meals.... Suddenly 3-4 weeks ago, we didn't recognize the people in there, service has been poor, orders wrong, and food quality haddropped seriously! We hate to lose a neighborhood favorite, but I think we're done. UPDATE: someone from there just called meat 10:20 pm and asked why I left a bad review. Done. I will never set foot in there again.
