We just left this IHOP and we are unhappy!! We had a waiter the name on the receipt was Jamie he brought us our food but he... never checked on us not even once once, he didn?t ask us if we needed refills of our drinks or anything and than he proceededto go out the front door in the front of the restaurant and smoke a cigarette. He came inside and didn?t even wash his hands. Atthis point we were done eating and needing boxes and the check and he continued to walk past us. He finally came to us stinkingof cigarettes. The only reason I'm giving 5 stars is because there was only 1 waitress on and the cook/ manager (?). This poor waitress was... running her self ragged trying to keep up! She was so over whelmed but was non stop running! I have never seen anyone hustlelike she did! Read more
The food is really good! Butttt? I found ants in the maple syrup, they handled it accordingly and quickly I got a new stack of... chocolate chip pancakes, and they are replacing all maple syrups in the facility. My boyfriend was mad about my pancakes beingruined by the ants haha. We had a great server, and she handled it really well. It?s just disgusting due to the fact I foundants in the syrup. Read more
Really enjoyed our visit. This IHOP is very clean and not out dated. I know some tend to be...staff is very kind and friendly.... They are short staffed however they work together to support each other so when our waitress wasn't available another was ableto attend to us. Food was delicious. Sincerely no complications. We went in to the Spring Lake NJ location and it was clean and we were greeted by a woman with a smile. Jamie C was our server... and he was awesome. I looked at his name tag and I noticed it said "Manager" under his name..not many managers I know would putan apron on if they were short staffed. As we are eating I look in the kitchen and notice he's now cooking. While he's switchinghats he's being attentive and all with a smile. We had a wonderful breakfast. Breakfast there came quickly on point and nice and hot. Our waiter was attentive and the food was great!
Went there for what I thought would of been a quick lunch. When I arrived there was a 5 min wait to clean off a table, after 20... minutes of waiting I got up to wash my hands. The bathroom smelt horrible and was dirty But hey it's a bathroom. Went back tosit down to wait. I look up and there's mold in the ac vent. So after 30 minutes of waiting we are greeted with I forgot youguys were here I'll seat you now. I was handed a dirty paper menu that appeared to be a place mat before. So 15 minutes later weget asked our drinks. 10 minutes later they came and we took are order. I noticed they had only one lady working the registerand also waitressing. So while waiting for our food that took an hour to come out I stepped out for a phone call. I come back insit down look up and there was mold growing on the ceiling. We finally get are food and everything was burnt. This place needsto close fix it's issues get some workers and try again. Since they have been there they are hardly open so I would of figuredthings would of gotten fixed. But 12 pm you have 1 lady working like come on. Read more
Sadly, this IHOP was not up to par. Extremely slow service and just mediocre food. Ran out of an ingredient for my husbands eggs... Benedict without even mentioning it as it was served. Hopefully they will hire more help and get back up to snuff soon. Read more
