My girlfriends and I went to Spring Lake Seafood last night and we enjoyed a delicious meal. We ordered the tuna pizza after... reading other reviews. It was so so good. I had the bolognese which was so good, shrimp with pasta and the halibut. And weended with the banana bread pudding!! The interior is so cute and the staff was very attentive. We made reservations for outside seating at 630 on Oct 16. We walked from the hotel but it ended up being chilly so we asked if... we could sit inside instead, and the hostess seated us with no problem. Our server was friendly and made some recommendations.We started with clam chowder and shrimp cocktail. We didn't expect the clam chowder to be such a big bowl but it was delicious,very creamy with lots of potatoes, corn and clams. RJ ordered the lobster roll and I ordered the bay scallops. He wasdisappointed the lobster roll was cold, which isn't specified on the menu, but it was good. The Day Boat Scallops were small buttasty. I was disappointed they didn't come with the broccolini which was on the menu and just had boring green beans instead.The server said the desserts were made in house but we were too full. Calm clean vibe. Tastefully decorated. We ate on the porch. I had the crab cake. Delish with lots of crabmeat! The tuna pizza on... a crunchy rice base is the best I've ever had. The fish and chips...so fresh! A must try seafood restaurant in Spring Lake...make it your first stop! Read more
This review is just for breakfast as this is a seafood restaurant the experience may be very different for lunch or dinner. They... have a large outdoor area to sit. The outdoor tables were not set with anything. Our server was nice. Water was served in acarafe and the glasses had ice. I ordered a make your own omelet and a cup of coffee. The omelet only came with potatoes and nottoast. It was very expensive for what it was. The omelet was fine but the coffee was a little bitter and was never refilled.They ran out of flatware so my companion had to wait but his flatware did arrive before the food. I was never offered a spoonfor my coffee although I was given a flatware package of a fork and knife when my coffee was served. While we waited for ourfood, which took some time but we didn't mind, my view was of the peeling cabinet and the high chairs in the photo, althoughthey did have some pretty planters full of flowers around the porch on my other side. It doesnt appear to be the kind of placewhere the staff works together as a team to make sure all the customers are taken care of so it was kind of a cold experiencewhen we first arrived. It is not a bad place but in my opinion the experience for breakfast was not worth the $30 (before tip)we paid. Read more
Five stars are earned, not given? and man did this place earn theirs. Tremendous food in a laid back casual atmosphere with... fantastic service. HIGHLY recommend the tuna pizza, in fact dont bother ordering anything else, just get that as an appetizer,main course and dessert. Read more
We had a wonderful dinner on the patio - seafood tower was amazing - tuna pizza is off the charts - scallops were so delicious -... and the Astoria cake with a cup of coffee was the perfect way to top it off. Pecan pie was another highlight. The food is sofresh and really nicely prepared - and the owners are just lovely people! We are so excited to have this new dining option intown!! Read more
Very nice menu with Seafood Tacos recommended (and great Key Lime Pie). The staff was very friendly and helpful and it was a... nice environment in a very good location on the main drag (indoor and outdoor seating). They were about to start with Sushioptions which sound great. Highly recommend. Read more
