It was my first time at Springlake taphouse and it was exactly what I needed after a long day of work. Sitting down at their... beautiful bar listening to an incredible band “who brought the dog” whose harmonies are electric and so what I need at theend of a tough day was awesome. The bartenders Diana & patrick made me feel right at home, they were very attentive and haveamazing personalities. Loved their energy! Great atmosphere! The service was also great. We have the cheesesteak egg rolls and the whiskey glazed flat iron steak and they... were both delicious! Can’t wait to go back and try other items on the menu. Read more
I will start with the positive…the pizza is amazing! The cheesesteaks were not bad. Our waitress had to be flagged down... several times and not because it was busy but because her and the other waiters/waitresses had their own party going on in theback. While everyone else had their drinks from the bar, we flagged her down and “oh, she forgot to get mine”. My cousinordered a sprite and was given seltzer. Flagged her down again..when we told her, she took the seltzer and never came back! Whenwe flagged her down yet again she said they were out of sprite. They only had 2 beers on tap….it’s a TAP HOUSE??? Noexplanation was offered. She didn’t exactly earn her tip and honestly if less than 15% was an option she would have gottenless.( besides no tip which I didn’t have the heart to do) No matter how good your food is, your wait staff can ruin it foryou. This place I would not recommend unless your coming to drink at the bar. The food was less than average when it comes to... restaurant’s and I could have cooked every dish better at home. The waiter we had asked if we were ready to order right whenwe walked in and then after we said no, we didn’t see him for another 30 minutes. Drinks were never asked to be refilled. Thenafter 10 min after we got our food the waiter just dropped the check and walked away. Definitely not coming back here. Noattention to detail and it was pricey for the quality of food they have. Also don’t by into the appetizers they had the samepretzel sticks that a place I used to work at had and they sold 3 of them for 7.99 which is awful because the bag of pretzelsticks is 5 dollars and there’s 100 in them. The restaurant I used to work at used it as bread and was free for every table.Overall awful experience. Read more
This is one of my local favorites. Sharon is such a sweet and attentive Manager/bartender. She is the one that keeps us coming... in. Ben is an outstanding bartender, always knows when you’re ready for your next drink which is amazing. It’s like he readsour minds. Rachel is so super nice and pays attention. The trivia is a lot of fun on Tuesdays! The pizza is great, and beingborn and raised in NY, I need good pizza! Dyana and Patrick are also fantastic bartenders. They all make you feel like you’recoming back to friends. Having so many close bars where we live, and still we keep coming back here, it must mean something. Ilove the outside space as well. I want to love this place but each time it is a big disappointment-- mostly due to poor service-- both at the bar and at the... table. Nobody is willing to serve-- too busy talking to other bartenders/servers. The music is too loud-- cannot relax and havea conversation -- the music is BLARING. Food is fine-- pizza is pretty good but try to get a drink and you are out of luck! Read more
