I love Yoshinoya, I?ve been eating since I was a kid. Today was a sad day, just found a fly in my Combo. It was under the beef.

Never given a Yoshinoya 5 stars before, but this location is my favorite. I used to eat at these restaurants when I was in LA... and noticed the quality was not consistent depending on location. Unlike the location they should absolutely shut down on Elcajon, the food here was great. The beef was good, chicken was fantastic and the noodles were perfectly cooked. Seems likemost of the bad reviews are from a year ago so maybe they had different staff back then. Read more
I was craving for Japanese food and I saw the place while I was shopping at Ross so I decided to give it a try. But this is... probably my first and last. The selection is so little, they take so long to get and give the order and their customer serviceis not that good they really need to work on that if they wanna keep their business going. Simple greetings and courtesy wouldreally help the place but seems like the people working here hate there job lol. Coz they can?t even give you that. Dont waste your time!! Seriously! I read all the reviews and thought, no, I will try it for myself. I spent $27.43 on two large... combo bowls with the grilled steak and clam chowder on one and cheese cake for the other. I live 4 minutes from the restaurant.The food was cold, the meat was chewy, the clam chowder was cold. It looked like the food had been prepared and then reheated. I have attached a photo for you to see. I found a hard piece of bone or cartilage in the meat. If that had been the onlyproblem, no big deal, but it wasnt. The employee at the window had her back to me as we pulled up and continued to notacknowledge us or even look behind them to see if a car had pulled up. The employee kept doing whatever they were doing, maybetaking another order, who knows. After 7 minutes they finally turned around, opened the window and started the total amountdue. No apology, no accountability for total lack of customer service skills much less human communication. The entireexperience was a problem and I will absolutely not return to any Yoshinoya. I always see a huge line for this place and decided to stop by when the line was short. This was my first and last time I will... ever eat here. I drove up not knowing what to expect. As soon as I pulled up to order, I was met with pure rudeness. I orderedtwo bowls, a cup of clam chowder and spring rolls. After I got home, I opened the bag and the spring rolls were missing. Thefood is mediocre and I would never spend this amount of money for a bad experience. The management really should focus oncustomer service as it is lacking at this place. I actually left in a bad mood and I never allow people to ruin my mood in sucha way. Hopefully they will get it together as this area needs something different like this as it's mostly burger places.
