We visited the new location in Springdale on a Friday night. It was a little early so not too many people here yet. We were... seated quickly and placed orders. we started with the meatball stuffed portabella and caprese salad. The stuffed mushroom washuge and very good as was the salad. I then had the Spicy Seafood Trio. This is a pasta dish with marinara sauce and mushroomswith shrimp, calamari and scallops. All of the seafood was fresh and well prepared. I got 2 salads, 2 entrees. Bread was delicious! I originally ordered a salad and soup?the soup wasn?t very good. It was watery,... and could have used some salt. It had tons of ingredients, just not very flavourful. The chicken carbonara arrived lukewarm, nothot. The grilled chicken and shrimp arrived at the same time, but super hot! Chicken and shrimp entree was my favorite. Thebread?also my favorite. Megan was my waitress, and I was grateful for her superb attitude. I appreciate the timely manner sheput on my order, drinks, just tending to me overall. I love her attitude?very personable, friendly, and welcoming. Wonderful Italian food. Service was also excellent. I opted for the minestrone soup and Maria lasagna that our waiter actually... suggested. Renzo?s is THE BEST Italian restaurant in NWA. Delicious. Incredibly friendly service. CLEAN. The owner, Robert, is fascinating... to talk with. He?ll tell you the origins of recipes within his Italian family. His technique for red sauce is especiallyinteresting?where time is the special ingredient. I have so many favorites, but I keep going back to the toasted tortellini. Thehomemade soup and bread are perfect, too. I just can?t rave enough about this place. It?s an absolute treat to visit theSpringdale location, talk to the owner, and savor his delicious old school Italian flavors.
