We visited for My birthday and although it was warm in the restaurant, the food and service was incredible. Our server even sang... a very soulful happy Birthday to me and I had the most delicious cheesecake for dessert. Gator bites for an appetizer,perfection. Above the amazing food, our waiter was what made the whole experience. He was probably one of the best servers I'veever had. I believe his name was DK. He deserves a huge raise. Read more

The food here is absolutely delicious. I highly recommend making reservations first because so many people travel from out of... town to eat here, the wait time may be long. First time at this restaurant. Our family celebrated my granddaughter's 18th birthday. Our server was great. I'm not a seafood... lover so I ordered the $50 steak. It wasn't what I expected for the price. The baked potato and spinach was good. I let ourserver know it was my granddaughter birthday and she selected complimentary strawberry cheesecake. Overall, the food was delicious, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the customer service was great. I didn't care for my cold... french fries, but I did love my gumbo and my son loved his loaded baked potato. The baked potato was huge. Of course once again service was amazing. We sat in the bar area in a booth, food was fresh. The claw on the lobster was... huge!!!! It came out ready to eat. I did not have to take the time to break the shell as you can see. Spinach dip was good withthe bread it came with, but it's better with the dinner bread. This was my 1st time back at Pappadeaux in a VERY long time. The fish could've used a little more seasoning, and the stuffed... shrimp could've used a little less grease. We were warmly greeted upon arrival. Absolutely fantastic. We had dinner on Christmas Eve. The original order was taken in error... by another server. We were given free desserts. We were enjoying our appetizer and didn?t mind waiting for our food. Our foodarrived delicious, hot and fresh. Our server was very attentive with a great attitude. The ladies restroom was clean. I literally have not eaten here since the first week they opened this location, all those years ago. I enjoyed myself... completely. If I had to critique anything, it'll be them not having as diverse of a drink selection at the bar & to season theirfood with a little more "love". But I was pleased overall. Definitely a huge positive then I remember from before (hence myhiatus). I had the seafood Spinach dip, alligator, seafood pasta and the vanilla cheesecake. SPLENDID! Read more
