So this place is great! Food was amazing! People are friendly! The bar area is very clean and nice! Did I mention the bbq was... amazing! Went to wackarnalds and got my usual big Mack meal and a 20 piece nuggets used to be 12$ was 25! I got enuf bbq for twoservings with Texas toast and a side salad it was 19$! Read more
I had the pulled chicken sandwich. Very tender and moist, sauce was excellent but not overpowering. Lots of chicken, so I'm... happy to have leftovers for tomorrow! Seasoning on the fries was great. I'm staying at the RV park, so I'm coming back tonightfor the Taco Tuesday special! Read more
We were on our way home to Show Low from Alpine and as we passed the restaurant my husband realized this was the restaurant that... someone told him about when we were waiting for a flight several months ago. We had our dog with us so my husband went in andordered 2 sampler plates, 4 different tacos and onion rings to go. One bite and you think you're in Texas! Amazing food and service! The Brisket and shoe string fries are without a double my Fav!... Big RV parking across the street. The VERY best BBQ you will Ever eat! Everything on the menu is absolutely delicious. Their ingredients are fresh and top... quality. Their recipes are out of this world good! It's a clean, super nice atmosphere with friendly staff. And the smell whenyou walk in....mmmmmmm BBQ goodness. We stopped into this place just thinking get a drink, get some gas, goodbye. Then we sauntered into Avery's from the 76 and... decided we were hungry. Got a Brisket and beer battered fries, and a BQ-ban (Avery's take on a Reuben) with onion rings. It wasdelicious, melt in your mouth meat. The atmosphere is amazing just like the food. Read more
We stopped here on a trip from Holbrook, AZ, to Deming, NM. Between Holbrook and Springdale, not many dining options. The bbq... here is fantastic. They really know what they are doing. There was a steady stream of folks who felt the same way. The opened upseating in the closed bar next door, and we sat there. Sorry it wasn?t open, interesting place. Very glad we stopped. Read more
