Our FFA chapter came in to eat this past week during the state convention. We couldn't find any other place to eat because it... was so packed around the area. When we got there only 2-3 tables we're filled with others, so there really wasn't anyone thereat that moment. The waitress took at least 15-20 minutes to get our drinks to us, which we're just sitting on the bar counter.One of our members ordered 2 waffles. He only got one until someone said something than they told us that the cook was making itnow. The first one he got he's said it was soggy and just weird. Other members ordered the roast beef which they said wasabsolutely cold and nasty. I saw another table of members leave without eating barley any of their food. When I used thebathroom the toilet, floor, and some of the sink we're nasty. The toilet seat was also broken and should be fixed ASAP. It tookus at least 30-45 minutes to get our food which was absolutely uncalled for. One of the employees told some customers that theplace was dirty and they had to wait, but yet barley anyone was there. What I ate was actually decently good. Surprise dining experience for family lunch made day complete. Situated across from Lincoln s law office in downtown... Springfield, we found this delightful cafe. With local favorites of biscuits and gravy, BELTS, asiago burgers, and horseshoeponies, this cafe exceeded our expectations. We loved the surprise ability to substitute tots for fries, bacon on the gravy,and homemade cheese sauce! The Irish coffee didn't hurt either! To he waitress was kind and helpful. Great time! Great eatery in the heart of downtown Springfield. The food is good, atmosphere relaxing and enjoyable. The staff are always... courteous and polite. Prices are decent on the wallet especially for food that will fill you up and breakfast served anytime isa big thumbs up. I highly recommend this establishment if you have not been. Read more
