Best food I have in a while. My husband said it’s made red lobster look like McDonald’s. The wait was a little but well... worth it for the food you can’t rush perfection so waiting isn’t an issue not everything can be out in two minutes and itshouldn’t be like that any way. Nicole was the only server there and she was amazing. Every dish they had coming out made uswant to order more. I got the bag (crab legs clams and shrimp and no they don’t skimp on them I was pleasantly surprised atthe amount in the bag)and my s/o got the fried lobster both were amazing and the fried alligator bites . We have dubbed thisplace our place meaning this is where we are going for our date nights when we can get away from the kids. If the owners readthis Nicole and I’m sorry I didn’t get the two cooks names but they all need raises. They had food going out at good times (kitchen was on point and it was busy) and Nicole was doing an amazing job and being the only one serving she stayed on top ofall her tables. This is a very strange place. But in their defense we did go at a very off time in the afternoon. The food was great. I had fish... tacos I think, and love them. The other meal was very appreciated and delicious. But when we arrived there was no one to befound and we thought maybe they weren't serving even though there was a welcoming sandwich sign in front that said they wereopen. Finally someone appeared and it seemed she'd begrudgingly told us to sit anywhere. She called from the far side of therestaurant to ask what we wanted to drink. Later she called from far away to ask if we were ready to order. I felt like we werereally imposing on her by coming into eat there. I suspect their real income is from evening and the gaming room. And bar.Perhaps if you go at lunch time or in the evening you will have a great experience. Read more
Food was fantastic, great daily deals during happy hour. Cannot wait to come back again. Nathan was a great Bartender/Waiter.
1 word: phenomenal! Can't wait to go back for this yummy Cajun seafood delight! Prices were not bad either. We got 2 seafood... entrees, one bottle of wine, and an appetizer for $88! I got the steam bag with snow crab legs, potatoes, and corn (highlyrecommend with the house seasonig) and my fiance got the gumbo which was also delicious. They had live music the Friday we werethere which made the mood that much more wonderful. A new favorite spot indeed! Read more
This is a great hidden gem downtown Springfield. Locally owned and operated with great friendly and courteous customer service.... The prices are great and the food is delicious. The catfish portions are very generous and the catfish is high quality Americancatfish, not Swai. The fried oysters are amazing. Large tender juicy. There might be other places in town pretending to serveCajun seafood but this place is the real deal! Read more
For food, I would rate it a 3. I ordered the snow crab legs.. I'm not a very experienced crab leg, eater... but I've tried other... crab that tasted better.. the marinade in the bag was good. We also got the alligator bites which we're good and piping hot whenthey came out, along with the crawfish which was okay to me.. Again,, I don't have much experience with seafood like this. I'dsay, give it a try, for sure. There are plenty of food options, alcohol, and slot machines. (I don't gamble but it is availablein a separate room) I'm also rating it 4 stars because our server was just amazing, friendly, very funny and attentive. I dontremember his name but I would go back. Went to early dinner and all the food was good. Only reason for 4 & not 5 stars was that the initial waitress seemed spacey... (out of it) and took quite a while to come to our table and then bring drinks when we were the only customers in the place, butshe did at least get our order correct (which we had doubts about). Small cozy place, great specials, our server was fabulous, food was delicious. Prices have gone up obviously, thanks inflation,... but not unreasonable. We will definitely be back. Read more
