Wish I could give less than 1 star. The "nacho cheese" was bad...like rotten and stinky. I told the waitress and instead of... taking it away or offering me something else, she just said OK and left it there. Didn't take it off the check either. The restof the food was passable, but we waited over 10 minutes to get a pen to sign the receipt. I finally got up and grabbed one fromanother server. Read more

Cancun has a nice selection of Mexican foods (see their menu) and reasonable prices for a good plate full. Also have a large... alcoholic beverage list. There was no waiting for a table and staff was cleaning each table thoroughly when customers left. Wewere a party of 5 and were in the restaurant for a couple hours, just eating and visiting. Service was slower than necessarygiven the small crowd. Finished one beer and was never asked if we wanted another. Food was hot when delivered and worth thewait. This is an adequate venue for supper, just allow plenty of time to get your food, and don't expect to be bothered withfollow-up service. Read more

Unfortunately I was very disapointed in the food quality tonight. I have been to Cancun many times since they opened and have... usually had good food. The Chille Rellenos is normally fantastic, it tasted cardboard, like chemically. They covered my steakfajitas in a sweet red sauce, I've never had a sweet red sauce on my fajitas and I didn't care for it. The guacamole was a weirdgreenish-brown. The lettuce was half wilted. The rice had definitely been reheated, it was so dry it was crispy. The service wasgood, but the food was so bad that I won't be coming back for a long time. I understand these are difficult times, but that's noexcuse for poor food quality. I'm not sure what changed: new cook? new management/ownership? cutting corners? I hope they canturn it around as it's a local place and one of my wife's favorites. Read more

I've never complained about a restaurant before but this was too horrible not to warn people. I'm not sure if it's new owners,... since they've reopened or what but wow. EVERYTHING was terrible. Salsa straight out of a bottle. The beef was a paste, withabsolutely no flavor. Carrots in a nacho platter. The taquitos and chicken quesadilla were frozen and store bought. Themargaritas were ungodly. I've had a better margarita out of a can. We were the only customer, at 8pm on a Sunday night and nowI can see why. The waitress was nice, at least. $50+ bill and we didn't even finish half of our meal. Read more

Always fast and friendly service. The food seems fresh and always hot. I've been eating here for 8 years and have never had a... bad meal. Also large portions for a great price. Read more

Service was incredibly slow despite the fact that there was only one other party in the place... The carnitas had good flavor,... but were dry and overcooked. Read more

My family and I were exhausted from a very long drive from Michigan and by the time we reached this area for our hotel on a... Sunday we didn't have very many options for food other than awful fast food. So we stopped in here and unfortunately we werevery close to closing time for them. So we were "those people". However our server, and I wish I could remember his name, wasvery accommodating. He was pleasant and overall a very good server. The food was pretty decent. I was pleased with my nachos andthe kids enjoyed their kids food. What really separated this place was the service. I hope the guy that served us gets somekudos. The date we went was 7/29 right before closing. Read more
