Simply AWESOME sandwich shop in Springfield, IL with multiple locations. The downtown location is my favorite. Try the tuna on... sweet bread (the shop makes its own breads) with pepper jack cheese and jalepeños toasted. Add a bag of chips and a pop. I always have a pleasant experience at this location. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I went in during the... busiest time of day with two work colleagues, we all received our sandwiches very promptly, and with no mistakes! Not that I wasexpecting any mistakes, It's just worth mention as we all know it happens sometimes during crunch time. I will definitely returnagain! Read more
Stopped here today to get sub on my lunch hour. Ordered and asked that the sub get run through the oven twice. Paid the lady and... reminded her to put it through twice. She agreed. So 20 minutes later, she asked what I had and I again reiterated. The sandwichwasn't in the oven. Apparently the sandwich maker never made it because it never came out of the oven. No apologies. I wasrunning late and couldn't wait around another 20 minutes so maybe they would make it this time. Sad, because they do have greatsubs. There are other local sub shops to eat at thankfully. amazing sandwiches ! thick-cut deli slices, wonderful bread, toasted (optional) just perfectly . big selection of Jones sodas,... as well as a wide selection of soda and water at the drink fountain . nice small selection of soups and fun chip flavors too. Read more
