We have eaten at this place on several occasions, each time liking it. This is the first time I've been back since the... pandemic. I had the smoked steak, but would not recommend it. The steak was cooked to perfection, but the smoke flavor was notgood. It could just be a personal preference. We had the jerk chicken enchiladas. No one liked those either. My wife had thescallops and advise they were awesome. My daughter had a blackened steak and crab cake, but they were too blackened. My son hadthe beef pasta and advised it would have been better with chicken or shrimp (and I agreed after a taste). Bar was a littleslow, but I think that's more the norm these days. It was our son's birthday, so we received a few, free desserts. We willcome back for sure. Some of the food was just a miss this time (and for the price, shouldn't have been). Read more

The atmosphere and service were good, but the food was a little disappointing for the price. It was okay, but my vegetables were... burned beyond recognition and much of our food had A LOT of pepper. That said, I know I?ve had off nights, so I will happily tryagain with a different entree. Also, I got a glass of wine that was completely off, but the bartender saw the face I made andreplaced it immediately, and our other drinks were great. Read more

First and foremost, I want to say how much I appreciate the kitchen at this place! Those guys KILLED it, and served some... phenomenal food! Keep doing what you are doing! However, on the service side, this was literally the worst service we have hadat any restaurant. Please keep in mind, there were only 6 tables being served, with 2 waitresses, a host, and a manager, when wearrived. Our silverware at our pre-set table wasn't complete. When our appetizer arrived, we weren't given plates. We had towave down the waitress, after 10 minutes of starring at our appetizer, to ask for plates. We weren't being checked on, she weliterally had to holler at her as she went by. She then dumped the plates and left. It took 40 minutes before we were even askedwhat entrees we wanted to order. We couldn't place any order before that, because our table wasnt being checked on. After Iordered my steak, the waitress immediately walked away without even asking how i wanted it cooked. She also didn't ask what sizeof steak my wife wanted. The kitchen caught how she didnt ask what size of steak, and had to return to our table to confirm. Asshe was about to walk away, I was THEN able to request how i wanted the steak cooked. When the food came, my order was 100%wrong. The closest thing to being correct on the plate was that there was "a steak", but not even the right cut. Not to mention,I ordered Medium-Rare, and it was Medium-Well. NONE of the sides were correct (again, not blaming the kitchen, b/c they justcook what they are told to cook). 15 minutes AFTER our food was delivered, our waitress (Bella), still had not checked back onus to see how our food was. However, the manager had walked over to check on tables and refill waters. HE was the one we had totell about the plate not being right. Also, by that point, we had been there for 1 hour and 15 minutes, and he was the 1st torefill our waters. The manager at least said they would make the plate right, and re-do my order. Sat at the Chef's Table so we could watch the kitchen in action. First time taking the teens. We were celebrating a birthday... for the teen who wants to be a chef someday. Well worth the price - Pulled Pork Pop Tarts and White Sausage Flatbread were anexcellent start. Wife had the Prawns stuffed with Crabmeat, I the Deconstructed Beef Wellington. Boys went for the KobeBurgers. Everyone was greatly pleased. Add the Homemade Doughnuts, Skillet Cookie, Cheesecake and a Creme Brulee fordesserts. The only question remaining will be when to make our next return. An extra bonus was that both Joseph and Chef JoJotook the time to speak to the star-struck birthday boy. Read more

We tried this place on a lark. We are first timers, and it was very nice! We should have eaten here before the pandemic and... lockdowns! Anyways, we ordered some cocktails, which were very nice and well prepared. For our entrees, we ordered the NewYears resolution option, which was a Mediterranean style grilled chicken with vegetables and couscous; and the 16 oz New Yorkstrip. The steak was very flavorful and while I'm sure the filet option is good, this strip was incredible. The chickenresolution entree was also very flavorful and tasted fresh, as it must have been spiced well. We will definitely be back, andwe wished we had dined sooner. Thanks! Read more

The best date night destination in Springfield that isn?t on top of a hotel. Superior food and service in a cozy atmosphere. My... wife said she could eat the lobster bisque all day long. Prices are quite reasonable for food of this quality. Read more
