The chicken was good but the linguine could have been better. Expected more as an Italian Restaurant.

My wife ordered a cheese calzone and a salad. The salad was fresh and crisp, but the calzone was awful. It was a small pizza... crust spread with sauce and a bare sprinkling of cheese, then folded over, baked, and sliced in half. It tasted like a crackerwith pizza sauce but hardly any cheese. I ordered Chicken Luigi. It was described as chicken, mushrooms, broccoli with alfredosauce over fettuccine and smothered with provolone. This was our first time at Mario's and overall it was a good visit. The food was hot and the portions were generous. When we... were there they also had half priced bottles of wine. The calamari was a bit undercooked so I gave the rest 4 stars instead of5. We will return for another visit. Read more

Food is excellent. Service always starts out great then kind of tapers off. After we get our food we get one last check by our... waitresses and then its like they completely disappear. I always have to go ask for my check. Has happened all 5 times we havebeen here. I marked them down by 1 star only because they do not have a military discount. I prefer to spend my $$ at Militaryfriendly places and there are a LOT of those in Springfield to choose from. Read more

Such a wonderful experience! We stopped coming back from a trip and when we entered, a fellow customer stopped us and told us... how great the food was and boy was he right! We had the best cheesy bread, pizza and waiter!! 10/10 recommend! Read more

We order from here somewhat frequently due to it being close to home. Almost every time we order something is wrong. This last... time, we asked for two orders of wings - one traditional and one boneless. I even clarified the order before I hung up to makesure it is correct. When we got home we received two orders of traditional wings. I called and whomever I was passed to made itseem that I was an inconvenience - asking what 'exactly' I wanted. After clarifying I wanted my correct order of boneless. Theyremade the wings and we picked them up. Silly me didn't check to make sure they were boneless the second go round. Needless tosay when I called back to tell them I have received traditional wings for the second time I was given many excuses and "theyeven looked like boneless when we cooked them". I have attached a picture of our second order of "boneless" wings.... we won'tbe back. Read more
