I am the oldest living employee of the original Monical's Pizza. As that, I guess I can provide an assessment of the Monical's... in Springfield. The service was excellent. The pizza crust was also bakes to perfection. I toppings set the stage for thethree stars. The ingredients were overloaded with too many green peppers and they were concentrated in the center of the pizza. More evenly distributed peppers and onions would have enhanced the flavor. (This was a couple weeks ago) Food was excellent. Our waitress was super friendly and engaging with our table. It felt like we... were in the comfort of our home with her serving us. Not much else to say except that this was a pleasant experience. Read more
If you like paying an astronomical amount for a burnt pizza this is the place for you. I just spent $35 for a burnt pizza and... some frozen cheese sticks. After actually having a slice?.there wasn?t hardly any sauce at all on it. So burnt with no sauce andended up tossing the pizza out. I will never go back. Thanks for basically stealing my money. SAVE YOUR MONEY, I WISH IHAD. Mgr. offers a coupon for a free pizza and should have offered my money back. I would have happily gave them their BURNT PIZZA back. $35 in the trash. Read more
First time here as we are visiting Springfield for the 4th. Staff was a bit stressed with the crowd. Some patrons looked like... they had been waiting a while on food. We were seated promptly and our server was very polite and helpful. Our food arrivedafter a bit and it was yummy. We ordered a pizza and pepperollies. One funny thing, our pizza seems to be missing one piece(see photos). Still very tasty. Make sure you check this place out when you are in town. Read more
Had a veggie pizza that was very good. Always love the thin salty crust & signature salad dressing. The waitress covered the... whole place on a Tues nite & was very attentive. I highly recommend Monicals Pizza! Read more
