I took my 2 granddaughters out and we chose Old Lux. We all had ribeyes and all the sides. The steaks were medium rare, medium... well and well done, they were all perfect. Dinner was great and the service was great. Did not have to wait for a seat in whichthe owner seated us. I love the Ole Lux always have and will be going back. I posted some of the food. Read more
We came here from out of town and found this place by chance. It is EXCELLENT. The staff is so friendly and genuine, the steaks... were seasoned perfectly and they had the BEST potatoes I've ever had. It was so good we came back the next night for a deliciousice cream liquor drink and another potato. Definitely coming back. Read more

Food was very good. Staff very friendly. On the darker side of Springfield , so keep that in mind. A mom and pops type of... restaurant with a very loyal customer base. I have spoken to a lot of people prior to eating there. I ordered the T bone and itwas very tender pretty well seasoned and cooked exactly the way I wanted it. Read more
This was the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. Not only were the steaks horrible and what seemed to be stringy and... thawed out. The owner/manager spoke abusively to the waitress. They didn't know but it was my birthday. I didn't know that asteak could suck that much. The owner had a gravy stained short on and was clearly intoxicated. He kept turning the lights upand down. Our waitress said jokingly "what do you want these people to think they're ugly?". Because he kept adjusting lights.He said, "No, I dont want them to see how ugly you are". This is such an amazing restaurant in downtown Springfield. The most amazing filet and whole channel catfish!! The loaded... baked and the cheffee potatoes so delicious!! Full bar with supper club ice cream drinks!! Read more

How could I live in Springfield and never have dined here? Totally my loss because it was amazing. Cocktails were great and... brought out in a shaker that looked like a giant prescription bottle which cracked us up. We both ordered the filet and friedlobster tail...unbelievably amazing! The salad was great. The fries were great. No complaints at all. I?m so glad we didn?torder an appetizer because we both took half our steak home and I even packed up some of the lobster and fries. It was stillgreat warmed up. The service was wonderful and everyone was so friendly. I?m ready to go back this weekend!! Read more
