Im muslim (islam) and cant eat pork, it?s forbidden. I ordered a pizza with pineapple, chicken, and banana peppers. It came with... BACON, chicken and banana peppers. I can not eat PORK?.. what did i pay for if i cant eat my pizza? Im pretty upset about thisas if i hadn?t noticed the mistake i could of eat it. Id like a refund for at least the pizza as i cant eat it, and now I?m notwilling to trust another pizza to be made properly. As it was a ?create your own?. Not a customized specialty. Pick-up estimate was too short. However, fairly certain my call was answered & serviced by a call center, not this actual... location. Looked & tasted good. Price was much higher than expected in comparison to similar restaurants in town. Read more
It took a half-hour to order 1 pizza and 1 Papadia! Why?! Because when you dial a local number you get either Pakistan or... India. You read that right. They don't understand what you want or delivery instructions. Total for these two items = $36.00. This is the United States of America. Not India. Not Pakistan. Quit giving away our jobs and money! It is a complete OUTRAGE that you FORCE customers go through INDIA & PAKISTAN to place an order. I am hard of hearing; but, I am... not deaf. It is exasperating for me to understand THOSE people. And I don't want them exploiting my personal information. I amNOT a resident of India nor Pakistan. This is the USA. Called the papa johns on north grand in Springfield il. Placed my order and the person taking it gave me a total and asked if I... wanted it right away or to schedule a pick up later. I said right away and was told 15-25 minutes. I asked is it 15 or 25?He repeated himself again. I said I will be there in 20 minutes. I got there 35 minutes later. The person helping me toldme my pizza hadn?t been started yet. I said what do you mean and told them the conversation I had with the person taking myorder. She said I called the order hub and there times weren?t lining up. I left and called the number I ordered fromearlier. It wasn?t the hub it was the store. I talked to the manager and it was the same girl I talked to in store that toldme my order hadn?t been started. She proceeded to make excuses. The customer service is terrible. Last experience with this Papa John's was horrible but everyone has a bad night, thought i would give them another try, my... mistake. Ordering was easy online, had a coupon, that too was easy to add. That was the good part of this order. Delivery timewas1 1/2 to 2 hours, seems a little excessive but ok, I can wait. Had the tracker so I knew when to expect them, since I'm atwork. 1 hour later it says out for delivery, I'm happy going to be early. WRONG. 45 min later I get my order, the store is 7blocks away. The driver had the Pepsi in with the hot items, so not only was the Pepsi warm and the food cold, the food boxeswere smashed. Ok I'm a big girl, I can handle a little smashing of my food, not like I'm paying for it. OH YEAH I AM. Needlessto say the order wasn't right either, wanted light sauce, sauce was so heavy my crust tore when i picked it up. Do yourself afavor order from somewhere who wants return business. Read more
Most the other negative reviews are correct. I thought I would give them a chance again since I've ordered here bf. When I... arrived, after already when my pizza was supposed to have been done it was not and I had to sit and wait for another 20 minutes.In that time sitting in the store I got a good view of what was going on. Seemed like the girl in charge was "trying" but mby itwas just the crew she was working with and her not having enough influence or a backbone to straighten them out. She seemed faroutnumbered in the correct mindset needed to run the place. She asked aloud to the other employees where an order was and Icould tell from the responses she received she was not respected by the staff. So mby my complaint falls solely on her? Notquite I don't believe but it would probably be a start. Next as I was sitting and waiting I noticed NO ONE except her waswearing gloves and handling every pizza to put them together! Now u say "oh u can't make a pizza wearing gloves" I would findthat hard to believe and in no way shape or form true in my experience, and to answer that then I would say there should havedefinitely been a was sink right where everyone was handling pizzas and toppings but no one seemed to wash their hands betweenmaking pizzas in the time I was there and there were several done. It just seemed very unsanitary in this store. After I finallyreceived my pizza and got bk to eat it we found that the pizza was not even cut thru all the way so we had to tear it apart andthe crust under the toppings from the center being the soggiest out to the crust. We were very disappointed as my wife and Iboth really like Papa John's but we will not be going back to this location again!! Read more
