My daughter and I traveled to Springfield to pick up a couple of rescued shelter dogs. We were meeting the people in Springfield... to get the dogs. We stopped at parkway Cafe and the food was very good. We both ordered breakfast. The scrambled eggs withcheese nice portion, bacon four five strips, biscuits and gravy, and hash browns. Price was very reasonable, the service wasvery good, quick friendly! If we have an opportunity to travel to Springfield Illinois again, we will definitely stop in atParkway Cafe! Read more

Parkway is one of the best for a weekend breakfast. It checks all my boxes - clean, inviting, ample menu choices, and a hook in... the ladies room for my purse! Very friendly service and good (not great) food. Pretty good coffee and the food comes out pretty fast. I think it is a little... pricey for what you get, but not real high. I like it and have been twice. Good enough that I will return! Read more

Stopped in for a homecooked meal. Biscuits and Gravy with three eggs over medium and i requested the bacon be extra crispy ... bacon, not in a deep fryer. This is why 4 stars. Bacon was nowhere near crispy, just simply limp. Other than this food wasreally good. Service by both Jill & Emma was great, coffee filled overall a good breakfast. Read more
