I've ordered from BoriSushi multiple times over the years but this last experience was extremely disappointing. I ordered a... Bentobox (shrimp teriyaki, arroz con gandules, Boricua roll and egg roll) from BoriSushi via DoorDash ($15 but $24+ withdelivery fees included). Instead, I received a plate of rice, a few shrimp and an "I owe you"note stuck to the food container(please see the picture attached) . BoriSushi wrote "we are almost closing, no sushi, no egg roll. I'm sorry. I owe you" . Idecided to give BoriSushi the benefit of the doubt and went in person to inquire about the note the following day. The woman Ispoke to admitted she wrote the note. When I asked if I they intended to give me rest of my order, the woman looked confused andsaid that she didn't mean "I owe you" like that. She then offered to refund me $2 for the "egg roll" but did not acknowledge themissing sushi. I then asked whey they accepted an order they knew they could not fulfill it and why they did not give me anopportunity to cancel the order or select another menu item. The woman then stated that they notified DoorDash about the issuesand that DoorDash agreed to notify me. The woman then directed me to contact DoorDash. Upon contacting DoorDash and themreviewing there notes, they confirmed that there is no evidence that BoriSushi ever contacted them about an issue fulfilling theorder. Amazing! ¡Delicioso! Just tried for the first time and cannot wait to go back. We ordered the BoriParty #1 and the Pescador.... Loved all! Our favs were the Pescador and the Guava. They were extremely good. This place is a must! And I've eaten sushi intons of places, including Puerto Rico. My husband went as far as saying this is the best sushi he's ever had. Take out was verynicely packed. And the sushi chef was so nice when I asked if she could identify each sushi and she took the time to talk to meabout the other sushi and other food. Sushi was delicious! I love the Puertorican twist to sushi! They just need to work on customer service...I asked for soy sauce... and I got the Chinese restaurant soy sauce packages with NO dish/bowl to dip. Had to ask another waitress for the dish. Waitressdid not check in with us for water refill, if we needed anything, if we wanted to order anything, etc. We just got the billbefore I was served the last two rolls ; no communication. Enjoyed the music, but the ambience is lacking and not inviting. Nodecor, just green paint everywhere. The place looks like it used to me a night cluch/lounge or something...AGAIN, I will go backfor the sushi, but they can use some decor and better customer service. Read more

This place is absolutely amazing! It is a full experience. After living in Japan for 3 years I am very picky when it comes to... sushi. That being said this is nothing like your traditional Japanese sushi this is a total different experience that it?s 100%worth trying. Not only the food is amazing but the service is extraordinary. 1000% recommend Bori Sushi to anyone. Read more
At first I was a little hesitant to try it because it?s Puerto Rican food in a sushi roll but to my surprise it?s pretty tasty.... It is family owned and I think that?s great, they even have their kids with them there and I think that?s sweet and I wish themmuch success. Read more
Food was good and reasonable prices. Also not to mention, it is very clean and very friendly staffed
