Soulful coffee and a really wonderful visit. If I lived here, this would probably become my regular coffee joint. I've never had... as good of a cup of coffee made for me as I did here. I mean, it was GOOD. I ordered a soy latte and the bean flavor was highlypresent and balanced, and not overly sweetened by the soy milk. The man behind the cashier was quiet and kind, made excellenticed teas for my two friends and made my coffee. He asked me if I wanted cinnamon added to mine which I enthusiastically saidyes too. That added a nice kick of spice to the latte. 10/10 highly recommend. The spot itself was an interesting place too! Read more
I recently moved to downtown Springfield. And I was looking for a good coffee spot to go to before getting to class. I went... inside here and was greeted by the nicest guy. The man at the front counter (I believe the owner) went above and beyond for us. Just a great guy and that kind of courtesy is... rare nowadays. And my sister wasn?t a fan of her coffee choice and he gave her a chai for free to try. Just very kind andaccommodating. Lovely staff and nice shady outdoor seating by a gorgeous mural. I ordered the mochachino (assuming I should get a mocha menu... item) and it wasn't great. I am a latte drinker but this one, while sweet, was overly bitter and strong. Doesn't seem to bemade properly. The homemade baklava was tasty! I probably won't be back. Read more
