I'm from, Missouri. We don't have pizza places like this back home! I wish we did! I got a medium pizza...it was freaking huge!... The pizza was so freshly cooked, my tongue about fell off! You're served fresh bread, before your meal, & the atmosphere isawesome! It's definitely a local favorite! My cousin had the pasta! The portions were huge, & all of us walked away stuffed! Thenon refills sucked, but I enjoyed my pitcher of lemonade! The pizza was a thicker crust, & the crust was crisp! You could tellit was all great ingredients! This isn't a chain pizza joint! I've lived outside Springfield for about 10 years and never visited the Red Rose. I have heard great things but didn't want the... hassle of driving into the city. I decided to bite the bullet and go for it. It was just my wife and me. We both got smallpizzas... But they are not "small". Each could easily feed 2-3 people. So needless to say we had some leftovers. House Saladwas very good. Can easily share with a party of 4-6. Dressing was light and tasty. Pizza is what the red Rose is known for andit did not disappoint. Sauce and crust were both excellent. It isn't a thin crust NY Style... It is a little thicker but stillcrispy on the underside with a good chew. A+ I highly recommend and will be returning with the kids. The menu is so much morethan pizza. First time to order from Red Rose Pizza earlier this week and it right away became a new favorite pizza place for us. Came back... to order take out the next day right away. Their pizzas are well made. Tasty and crunchy at the same time. The small premiumpizzas are just perfect for one order or order multiples for sharing. Highly recommend their pizzas! Chicken picata was lemony and buttery, lightly breaded served in a bed of the pasta of your choice. The small pizza is enough... for 2-3 adults , fluffy crust edges with good char with a lightly corn meal crust. The dough is crispy yet soft with a nicechew. The place was slamming at 6pm on a Friday. They clearly know what they are doing, the place is a beehive of action. Ahuge dining room, they must have had 200 people eating, very impressive. Read more
Being from the west coast I had dinner here one night on a work trip and OMG the food is amazing! we had the meat balls for an... appetizer which were almost a meal in itself and for dinner I had the lasagna which was one of the best that I've ever had. Ilove the east coast cuisine. Read more

First time stopping at red rose (3/26/22)and it did not disappoint. After reading great reviews of this restaurant I wanted to... try it and we did! Ordered the medium size pizza half hamburger topping which was included for free! which was plenty for twopeople and alot of leftovers! The pizza was AMAZING from the fresh made dough and the delicious sauce and cheese it must betried! Also, the wait staff was top notch . If every business was run like this it would be a happy world! We have been to the MGM casino a few times and decided to try the red Rose Italian restaurant nearby, it was very good classic... old-school Italian food with very good service!!! Our waiter Kelvin was polite and attentive!! Couldn?t ask for a better waiter.We tried the lasagna, the meatballs in the fresh mozzarella fried, and the house salad everything was on point and delicious,like I mentioned before it?s classic old school Italian restaurant food.
