Got the platter for 2. I was excited for the burnt ends but the burnt ends were just that? burnt with no flavor and dry. I... ordered the beef as well which was just eh. I called in the order but they didn?t tell me it was an extra 1.50 for each of theitems which would?ve been a nice heads up. The sides were the best part of the meal which I would have taken back and asked tobe refunded for the meat portion but didn?t have the time to drive back. It wasn?t worth the money for us. Read more
I was a little skeptical when we arrived because it?s located in a rundown strip mall but once we walked in it was clean and had... a classic BBQ restaurant look and feel. The food was amazing! I highly recommend the beans, delicious smoky flavor and largechunks of smoked meat. I had ribs, sausage and burnt ends, which were all smoked beautifully and we?re delicious! Read more
We wanted to try a new BBQ place close to our house. It looked promising from afar but close up it was quite dirty. We could not... sit at a booth because they were all dirty. The wait staff were nice but it was not busy for it to be that messy. BBQ sauce wasleaked into the condiments box and soda stains on the straw packets. ???? I'm just saying. Awesome fries and smoky, juicy, tasty meat. We spent $36 for 3 sandwiches with fries and 2 fountain drinks - not bad, especially... for the quality. We're from out of town and would definitely come back next time we visit. Read more
Staying 1 night at a nearby hotel I decided to search out some bbq food. The 2 front of house staff were super friendly and... attentive, and definitely added a star to my rating of the restaurant. I chose the 2 meat combo platter, opting for ribs andburnt ends, with macaroni cheese and fried okra. The burnt ends and okra were great, the ribs however needed more cooking, andthe mac and cheese wasn't that cheesy. Portion wise, there was a substantial amount, more than enough for my appetite. Was decent, to many fly and the food was hard like it had just been warmed up.
The wings were actually pretty good this time! The potato salad is the thing that keeps me coming back. I was there around 7 pm... on a Wednesday and there was only one other table the entire time. Everything was still fresh and the servers were attentive.Make sure you try the smoked chicken and the potato salad, if nothing else! Read more
Awesome find!! Affordable prices!! I am a trucker who was passing through and stopped for dinner at Bubba's! I got the "Cowboy... Sandwich" which has brisket, fried onion petals and one of their signature sauces with a side of mac and cheese and fried corn.Everything was amazing! In addition, the employees working that evening were very friendly, smiling, and helpful! They cameright over when my drink was low to offer me a refill without me having to flag anyone down, which I appreciated!
