I haven?t ordered from Freddy?s in a while but the one time I do, I come in and the cashier was grumpy, I ordered a double... cheese burger by itself and nobody was in the kitchen until the order was 5 minutes matured. I didn?t get my order until 10minutes after. And I?m very conscious of germs and the line cook dropped a knife and picked it up and kept cooking withoutchanging his gloves. Usually go to another burger and custard place but wanted to change it up today. The service was very slow and food did not... taste fresh- the restroom was also pretty disgusting. Culvers includes ice cream with kids meals, Freddy's does not. Culversbrings you meal to your table while Freddy's relied on a muffled PA system. I was extremely disappointed with our visit. My husband and I decided to take a walk from our hotel and wound up at Freddy's... for frozen custard. The store was not very busy, and more than adequately staffed. There were two or three teenage boysworking at the front counter, and our order was taken pretty quickly. My husband ordered a large concrete, and I ordered adouble dish with Reeses PBC toppings. When the boy working rang it up, he rang mine up as a sundae instead of the way I orderedit, and the more expensive price wouldn't have even been worth mentioning here except that he still charged me 80-cents for thesingle topping. I didn't say anything about it, though, and we took our receipt and went to sit down. We weren't in a hurry,so at first I didn't even pay attention to how much time was passing. But I began to notice that two or three other customerscame in and ordered full meals after we were already waiting for ours, and they were already receiving their orders. The boysworking up front were goofing off at this point. Another employee, a teenage girl, was sitting at the booth in front of useating, either on break or just finishing her shift, and the boys kept coming over and messing with her. I pointed out to myhusband that nobody was even making any custard dishes, but he told me to be patient, so we continued to sit and wait. Butfinally, I took my phone out to see what time it was, and it had been 20 minutes since we ordered. I finally got up and went tothe counter, and one of the boys looked over at the order screen and said "oh, I'll make that for you right now!!" ...but justas he was getting ready to make them, he noticed that the girl was standing up and gathering her things, and I guess runningover and messing with her again was more of a priority than making our dishes. This used to be my favorite restaurant for lunch. But now the quality of service with the new crew is not good. Today I had... asked for tenders with honey mustard and they put on the receipt 'no sauce' and I did not receive any. So I went back to get thehoney mustard. The bag also had a large hole at the bottom. I'm not complaining for free food or anything, I would like for theservice to improve and be what it used to be. Read more

I ordered the single... combo and enjoyed the burger a lot...and don't forget the Fry Sauce for your French fries. Staff was very friendly, enthusiastic, and professional. They seemed to enjoy their job. I had the Original Double Burger... Combo. The burger was great. Ketchup, mustard, onion, and pickles...lots of pickles. The fries were the shoestring variety. Very good if you like that kind. This was my first time eating here. I would eat here again. Read more
