The food is good but everytime I go the portions get way smaller and it’s very obvious. I got an extra side along with my 11... dollar tacos. You used to get 3 tacos and now you only get 2. We just left Hot Cluckers on South Campbell Sunday evening at 6:20, we didn't have a good experience. We were taken back to a... table quickly, we had to walk on the floors that were just mopped and they were super slick, had to hang on to a chair so as notto slip and fall. Then they had to wipe off the table before sitting down. There were many other tables/booths available thatwere clean/dry so not quite understanding why we had to walk through slick wet floors to a dirty table. We ordered drinks andinstead of a Chardonnay he brought a Merlot, we know a Chardonnay was ordered. When ordering food they were out of okra whichwas really wanted. We waited and waited for food, the waiter came back and said he didn't put in our order and it would be readyin about 15 minutes. The table of three that sat next to us after we got there had ordered, eaten and were leaving and we stillhad no food. He said the wings were done but wasn't bringing them, we said to bring them. Wings were to come with celery but hesaid they were out. Later he came by with 4 celery sticks. About 25 minutes later our chicken arrived. We had been there an hourand a half, seemed longer! He went to get our check but didn't return for quite some time. These things all seem little and arebut when they all happen at one setting it gets pretty annoying. After reading the reviews we were hesistant, but we had a wonderful experience. Our server Pam was very attentive, informative... of the menu, we never had to ask for anything and we always had refills. She was kind and the best server we have had in years.The food was delicious. They upgraded the bone in wing size to giant wings, the tenders were also delicious. We tried BBQ and 1cluck. Ranch was delicious. We will be going back and asking for Kim. Read more
Loved everything about this place, except the spice. You can add levels of spice to your food from 1 to 4 clucks. I like spicy... food, but decided to be cautious and add one cluck. We tried Hot Cluckers for the first time. It was very good. I know it's a chicken joint but I was in the mood for a burger. The... server said the half pound burger is very good so I was in. It comes with ghost pepper cheese and another hot ingredient, thisis not for me. So I got the half pounder with American cheese and bacon. With onions and pickles it needed nothing else. Itdidn't need sauce as it was juicy, not greasy but juicy. It was seasoned very well and was a great burger. My wife had theboneless wings with garlic parmesan sauce and sweet bourbon sauce. They were very good also. The fries were excellent and thefried okra was good too. The place was clean and the server was very friendly. The hostess seemed a little put out that we askedfor a table, not a booth. She asked if we would sit at a booth.... "no, this is why we asked for a table." No big deal, we wouldhave waited for a table. We got a table without a wait as there were several open tables. .... ??? Pricy, small portions, 15 boneless wings and they were tiny and I easily finished them all. 3 flavors, and none of them had much... "flavor" to them. The ranch was the best part. I tried the beer Cheese corn, but it was more of a Mexican cheese dip with redand green peppers and full of onions! I can't eat onions at all, no mention of this on the menu and when I told the waitressabout it I got a "sorry hon". Oh well one less place to choose from as I will not be back. Read more
Great fried chicken! I'm picky with my fried chicken, but there's was awesome. Crispy and juicy. The sides were delicious. Even... fried green tomatoes! Crispy and delicious, and the comeback sauce for the tomatoes was excellent. I'll definitely be back! Read more
