They weren't too busy, Seated quickly, they took our drink order and we waited and waited... finally they brought our drinks. ... But our waiter had too go back and get his order book and we waited, but not as long as we waited after ordering our food!!From the time we walked in till they FINALLY brought us our check, 1½ hours. I would give negative stars if I could. Managers are rude and disrespectful to customers, half the staff smells like weed, they... smoking it in the office, or right out the back door, always lots of cursing and don?t get me started on service. They are slowand act like they are better then every one. The lead one faith is too busy making fun of everyone and laughing with some shortover makeuped girl that reminds me of Mimi from drew Carey to even make sure people are doing their jobs or too busy talking toregulars to take care of anyone else. Yes I'm from the shelter nearby. They treated with me with Grace and honor. They didn't look at my shoes with me in the eye. And... on this restaurant taking shake of course thank you but this job went on the call of duty. Arrived just before 9:00 pm and was told someone would be with with us shortly. We were then greeted with I?m sorry you will... have to wait until someone leaves because this section is closed. (Half of the dining floor that was clean.) I informed thepotential customers coming in what the situation was, we all left. Loss of 10 customers and possibly more. I see no reason toever return. Ordered to-go while on the way to the movies and it was my first experience not dining in. The food came out fresh, the staff... was friendly, and you can?t beat the $4 meals! I got the double steak burger with everything and they actually understood that Iwanted everything (i.e., mustard, mayo, ketchup, and all the veggies). The shoestring french fries are my favorite Steak ?nShake staple. Would highly recommend instead of the alternative fast food chains! Read more
I have always like eating at Steak n Shake, they have good food at great prices. However recently they stopped using plates and... started putting their food in baskets. I?ve noticed since, my hamburger comes out with the bun damp and soggy. I would stillrecommend this chain because they do have great burgers, except when they are soggy of course. Read more
Sat my entire lunch hour waiting on a burger that was basically raw on the inside. And, had nothing on it but a piece of... cheese. Drive thru attendant is unorganized and mismanaged.
